The
suit claims Disney is violating the Children’s Online Privacy
Protection Act. A San Francisco mom says her child was illegally tracked
while using the Disney Princess Palace Pets app.

Amanda Rushing, on behalf of her child referred to as “L.L.,” is suing The Walt Disney Company,
Disney Electronic Content and others in a proposed class action filed
Thursday in California federal court.Rushing claims an
advertising-specific software development kit is surreptitiously
embedded in the code for the app, and that’s how Disney is collecting
personal information and tracking online behavior.

“App
developers and their SDK-providing partners can track children’s
behavior while they play online games with their mobile devices by
obtaining critical pieces of data from the mobile devices, including
‘persistent identifiers,’ typically a unique number linked to a specific
mobile device,” writes attorney Michael Sobol in the complaint. “These
persistent identifiers allow SDK providers to detect a child’s activity
across multiple apps and platforms on the internet, and across different
devices, effectively providing a full chronology of the child’s actions
across devices and apps. This information is then sold to various
third-parties who sell targeted online advertising.”

Disney makes it fun to have your every move and purchase chipped, tracked and recorded:

Sobol argues this is exactly the kind of practice the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act
was enacted to prevent. Under COPPA, app developers and any
third-parties working with them can’t legally collect personal
information about children who are under the age of 13 without
verifiable consent from their parents.

“Disney has failed to
safeguard children’s personal information and ensure that third-parties’
collection of data from children is lawful,” writes Sobol.

According
to the suit, a Disney subsidiary, Playdom Inc., paid the largest civil
penalty to date ($3 million) for violating COPPA in 2011.

Rushing says L.L. was tracked while using the princess pets app,
but the suit claims dozens of other games also track their users,
including Club Penguin Island, Star Wars: Puzzle Droids, Frozen Free

Guests
who have been chosen to participate in a trial test of FastPass+
receive this package in the mail. It includes information about the
system and RFID-encoded cards.

Rushing is seeking class certification with a class defined as:
“all persons residing in the States of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona,
Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii,
Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland,
Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New
Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania,
South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and West Virginia who
are younger than the age of 13, or were younger than the age of 13 when
they played the Game Tracking Apps, and their parents and/or legal
guardians, from whom Defendants collected, used, or disclosed personal
information without verifiable parental consent.”

She’s also
seeking certification of a sub-class of California residents who could
also have claims for violation of the state’s right to privacy.

Late last month, a formal Administrative Procedures Act Petition was filed
with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease
Control (CDC) to establish a five-year moratorium on childhood
vaccinations. The petition was filed by Kent Heckenlively, JD, an
attorney from the state of California whose child was injured by a
vaccination, Rima E. Laibow, MD, Medical Director of the Natural
Solutions Foundation, and Ralph Fucetola, JD, President of the Institute
for Health Research.


“With this formal filing today at Regulations.gov joining the
WhiteHouse.gov petition I filed earlier this month we are establishing
our legal standing to call for the Five Year Childhood Vaccination
Moratorium,” said Heckenlively.


Ralph Fucetola, who has 35 years of experience in law, went on to
explain the reason as to why the petition was filed in the first place.
“Under the APA formal Citizens Petitions to government agencies have
legal standing to begin the process of adopting regulatory changes,
either through the agency directly or by White House Executive order,”
Fucetola said. He continued, “The two petitions submitted by Counsel
Heckenlively together deliver an important message to the Federal
Government regarding uninsurable vaccines that have been determined by
courts to be ‘unavoidably unsafe.’ We demand a moratorium on childhood
vaccines until and unless they are proven safe and effective, as
required by law.”


The official petition on WhiteHouse.gov,
which currently has over 6,600 signatures, asks the White House to do
four things: Enact a five year moratorium on vaccines for children below
the age of eighteen, repeal the 1986 National Childhood vaccine injury
Act, perform large scale studies on both vaccinated and unvaccinated
children in order to learn more about the effects of vaccines,
and ban direct pharmaceutical advertising to consumers and only permit
advertising that is directed towards medical professionals.


While there is still an ongoing and rigorous debate in this country
over the potentially harmful effects of vaccinations, what we know to be
true is that there are countless stories out there of young people who
have experienced tremendous amounts of suffering after receiving vaccines. Below are three of those stories.

Cerenity

When she was just six months old, Cerenity was given a total of eight
vaccinations that changed her life forever. Despite the fact that the
vaccines had a history of causing paralysis and brain damage,
Cerenity’s neurologist told her parents that there was still no good
reason to stop the vaccinations altogether. Sadly, Cerenity’s life will
now be filled with more pain and suffering than it would have been had
she never received the vaccines.

Holly

After receiving her second MMR vaccine dose, young Holly suffered from severe convulsions and brain damage,
which left her on life support for a short period of time before her
parents tragically made the decision to let their daughter die in peace.
After Holly’s death, her mother Robin was awarded compensation when it
was revealed that the MMR vaccine caused Holly to suffer acute
encephalopathy. With support from New Jersey’s governor, Holly’s Law was
created to help spare the lives of young children who may have the same
fate as Holly did after receiving the MMR vaccine.

Michael

Just one month after his first birthday, Michael Eugene Whitesell received six vaccine doses, which included the MMR, varicella, hepatitis A and flu shot vaccines.
Three days after receiving the vaccinations, Michael developed a minor
fever. Although Michael’s parents gave him Tylenol to bring his fever
down, early the next morning, Michael was found lifeless in his crib.
Even after Michael’s dad, Thomas, performed CPR on him, Michael did not
recover. There was nothing anybody could do to bring him back.


The debate over the potential risks of vaccinations will likely
continue for years, but regardless of what the outcome of this
nationwide debate may be, our country should be doing everything it can
to ensure that vaccines are as safe as possible. There is a significant
amount of evidence that leads one to believe that vaccinations may, in
fact, be to blame for numerous injuries and deaths that occur not only
within our own country but also throughout the world. It is time we do

Are you thinking of “getting into the ministry”? Keep your day job if you want to follow Paul.

“Greet
Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus: Who have for my life
laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also
all the churches of the Gentiles. Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.” Romans 16:3-5 (KJV)

This article is going to
make a lot of people, church people, hopping mad so let’s get right
into it, shall we? The word “church” appears in the King James Bible exactly 77 times in 76 verses.
And when I read over those passages giving us God’s perspective on what
church is, and look around me at 21st century churches, I see a
whopping disconnect taking place.

For starters,
church is not primarily a place, the church is made up of people who
have become born again. The people are the church, the church is not the
church. Get it? You may need to pause a moment to allow that thought to
fully sink in before continuing reading further. Suffice to say, the
church is the people, as seen here:

“That
he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or
wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish.” Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)

Second, the church is also a gathering,
be it large or small, of born again, saved church people. Many passages
in the Bible refer to “the church” meaning a gathering of church
people. Paul often refers to the gathered church as a corporate body.
Just don’t make the mistake of confusing something that is “corporate”
with something that is a legal corporation, they are not the same thing.

“If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?” 1 Corinthians 14:23 (KJV)

Lastly, no where is the New Testament do we see an official church building as a separate entity.
When the apostles started churches, they went from “house to house” and
from “town to town”, starting churches in the home of other
like-minded, born again, saved believers in Jesus Christ. Having
official buildings for churches would not happen until the hostile
takeover of the Church of Jesus Christ by Rome. When this happened, all
manner of corruption, greed, avarice and power struggles took place.
Rome, by force, merged paganism with Christianity which resulted in the hybrid demon child known as the Roman Catholic Church.
Schools used to teach the period of time when the Roman Catholic church
ruled as the Dark Ages, and the period of time when the Christian
church broke free from Rome’s grip as The Enlightenment. How appropo.

And this brings us to the “meat of the message”, church corporations.

free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea,
and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when
thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take,
and give unto them for me and thee.” Matthew 17:24-27 (KJV)

Jesus instructed Peter to pay the tax
to the Roman government to avoid “all appearance of evil” so as to not
offend people they would be witnessing to. What an extraordinary
concept, and something not found in any professing New Testament church in the 21st century. Why not? Keep reading.

What does Laodicea in full bloom look like? It looks exactly like this.

What comes right along with the modern 501 (c) (3) church corporation?
Church corporation salaries that need to be payed every week. How can
you be sure you have enough money to pay those salaries? Easy! You go
back to the book of Malachi and slap the Old Testament Jewish tithe on
your decidedly non-Jewish congregation, and you preach on that thing as
often as more money is needed. I have personally witnessed this
unscriptural phenomena in everything from bible believing Baptist
churches all the way up the line to the mega-church, and everywhere in
between. Some do it overtly while others do it more subtly, but nearly
all of them do it.

Since Christians are commanded to follow
the example of the apostle Paul, (1 Cor 4:16, 1 Cor 11:1 and Phl 3:17)
let’s take a look as see how Pastor Paul provided his wages:

“And
now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace,
which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all
them which are sanctified. I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or
apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto
my necessities, and to them that were with me.” Acts 20:32-34 (KJV)

“After
these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; And found a
certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with
his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to
depart from Rome:) and came unto them. And because he was of the same
craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they
were tentmakers. And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and
persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.” Acts 18:1-4 (KJV)

See? I told you this article was going to make you mad.

According to the Bible,
the greatest Christian that ever lived, Pastor Paul, provided the bulk
of his needs and necessities by working with his own hands, and then
preaching on the weekends. Again, pause here, and allow this to really
sink into your brain. This is how God intended for the church to be run
and operated, not as a business with salaried employees.

This is why there is no command to Church Age Christians
to give a set amount like 10% or any other percent. The Bible says that
the Lord loves a “cheerful giver”, who gives as they feel led to, not
because they have to. Paul received gifts and love offerings, but he
didn’t depend on them, he didn’t live his life waiting to receive them.
There was never supposed to be a “church corporation” being run out of a
“church building”, that is pure Laodicean hogwash.

Speaking of Laodicea,
Jesus prophesies that the last church age, the time we are in right
now, would be a wealth-infused mega-corporation whose focus was on
keeping the money flowing in while locking Jesus on the outside.

“And
unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things
saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the
creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I
would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou
sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing;
and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and
blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire,
that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be
clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and
anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I
love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3:13-19 (KJV)

about their genitals and why boys’ genitals are different from those of
girls

guidelines from Planned Parenthood concerning preschoolers and gender
identity instruct parents to teach, “Your genitals don’t make you a boy
or a girl.”

“Wherefore God also
gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to
dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of
God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the
Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” Romans 1:24,25 (KJV)

Did you know that Planned Parenthood provides Sex Education materials
and curriculum for America’s public schools? Did you also know that
Planned Parenthood has aligned themselves with the LGBT Movement to
advance the LGBT Agenda in America’s public schools? Part of that agenda

obviously, are different. Why do that? To allow all manner of perversion

and some with the gender identity “girl” or “woman” have
penises/testicles. Your genitals don’t make you a boy or a girl.

You
can say that most girls have vulvas and most boys have
penises/testicles. You may want to emphasize that it doesn’t matter too
much what parts someone has — that doesn’t tell you much about them. But
you can make that decision based on your values and how you plan to
talk with your kid about gender as they grow up.

As the Daily Caller notes,
the abortion business’s guidelines for parents of young children have
changed since the time Planned Parenthood accepted biological science’s
facts about male and female differences.

The old guidelines advise how parents should respond to their young child’s questions:

Q. What’s that? (pointing to a woman’s breast, or other body parts.)
A. That’s a breast. Women have breasts. Men don’t. Would you like to know anything else about that?

Q. How come I have a penis and you don’t?

A. Boys have penises and girls have vulvas. I’m a woman — a girl who is
all grown up — so I have a vulva instead of a penis. And you’re a boy,
so you have a penis instead of a vulva.

In the section of its guidelines titled, “How do I talk with my preschooler about identity?” Planned Parenthood recommends to parents:

Be
thoughtful about your choices when it comes to books, toys,
entertainment, clothes, decorations, and other things you surround your
little one with. These choices have an influence on your kid’s
understanding of gender and what it means. Putting daughters in pink
princess rooms and boys in blue sports rooms before they’re old enough
to choose for themselves can send the message that they have to like
certain things because of their gender.

Planned
Parenthood instructs parents of young children to be careful and
sensitive about “gender stereotypes” when choosing a toy or activity:

When
you pick a new toy or book, or sign your kid up for a new activity, ask
yourself these questions to help you think through whether or not
you’re reinforcing gender stereotypes.

• Would I feel comfortable with this choice if my kid wasn’t the gender they are? Why or why not?
• Does this choice expand or limit my kid’s expectations of who they could grow up to be?
• Does my kid generally like things like this already, or am I picking it just because of their gender?

“Talking
to (or in front of) your daughter about growing up and having
boyfriends or marrying a man (and vice versa) sends the message that
girls are supposed to like boys, and boys are supposed to like girls,
and that anything else is wrong or not normal,” Planned Parenthood
warns.

The guidelines continue with a recommendation to parents that they not assume their child is straight.

“This
can lead to mental health issues, unhealthy relationships, and taking
more health risks when they reach their teenage years,” cautions Planned
Parenthood.

For parents who might have concerns their child is
transgender, Planned Parenthood recommends “talking with a counselor or
therapist who’s familiar and supportive of LGBTQ identities,” or
consulting with political lobbying group PFLAG, which states part
of its mission is “Advocacy in our communities to change attitudes and
create policies and laws that achieve full equality for people who are
LGBTQ.”

The American College of Pediatricians, however, has asserted that gender
ideology is harmful to children and that the promotion of gender
fluidity enables the masking of serious mental health issues in
children.

The College states:

No
one is born with a gender. Everyone is born with a biological sex.
Gender (an awareness and sense of oneself as male or female) is a
sociological and psychological concept; not an objective biological one…

A
person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a
sign of confused thinking. When an otherwise healthy biological boy
believes he is a girl, or an otherwise healthy biological girl believes
she is a boy, an objective psychological problem exists that lies in the
mind not the body, and it should be treated as such. These children
suffer from gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria (GD), formerly listed as
Gender Identity Disorder (GID), is a recognized mental disorder in the
most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the
American Psychiatric Association (DSM-V)…

“According
to the DSM-V, as many as 98% of gender confused boys and 88% of gender
confused girls eventually accept their biological sex after naturally
passing through puberty,” the College adds. “Conditioning children into
believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the
opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.”

Planned
Parenthood has joined with the radical social engineering agenda that
embraces a society in which gender is fluid and considers biological
differences between males and females, and common civic acceptance of
those differences, to be obstacles to its goals. Recently, the abortion
organization has begun to provide “transgender services” in some of its facilities, including hormone treatments.

In December of 2015,
Planned Parenthood announced that it was working with GLSEN, the Human
Rights Campaign, and SIECUS for LGBT-inclusive sex education programs in

land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the
words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the
north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of
the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.” Amos 8:11-13 (KJV)

The Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture
is so entrenched in Scripture that it’s not only in the New Testament,
it’s also in the Old Testament as well. Enoch, living before both the
Flood of Noah and before the Law of Moses is a type of a Christian who
never sees death and is translated directly to Heaven in his own private
rapture. In Song of Solomon 2:8-10
(KJV), we read the glorious story of the Bride, a type of the Church,
being called “up and away” by her Beloved, who is “looking down” through
the lattice work from up above.

But one minute after
this amazing event takes place, a worldwide famine will instantly
transpire. It won’t be a famine of food, it will be a famine of not
being able to have the word of God. Those are the verses we quoted at
the very top of this article. Go back and read them again, and let it
sink it.

Amos is one of my favorite OT prophets,
God gives him an amazing set of revelations and visions. Historically,
Amos was a peer with Hosea, and he came after Joel. He prophesied
judgment on Israel at the hands of the Assyrian army, which absolutely
came to pass. But if all Amos has to say was simply an accounting of God
judging Israel, it would have limited application for us today. But the
prophecy of Amos, like most prophecy, has a double application. It
applied to the Israel then, and it will apply to Israel in the time of
Jacob’s trouble, after the Rapture of the Church.

Back in March, we did an article entitled “The Book Of Amos Reveals Amazing Insight Into The Time Of Jacob’s Trouble And The Battle Of Armageddon“,
and it would behoove you to take a moment and read it now if you have
not already done so. Today, I want to bring to your attention another
aspect of what life in the time of Jacob’s trouble will be like.

And it’s not a pretty picture.

One minute after the Rapture of the Church takes place, the entire Body of Christ is removed from off the Earth and taken to meet Jesus in the clouds, as we see here:

“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain
unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord
in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one
another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 (KJV)

Comforting words indeed, for us, but what about for those left behind?

After the Church is removed,
the Bible becomes a closed Book. I say this because even though the
world will still be filled with Bibles, physically, there will not
remain even one person anywhere on the globe who can understand it. No
one. The unsaved or “natural man” is not capable of understanding God’s
word because they don’t have the Holy Spirit in them.

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)

IF YOU’RE LEFT BEHIND AFTER THE PRETRIBULATION RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH, YOU MAY NEVER GET ANOTHER CHANCE TO GET SAVED

The God-approved method of unsaved sinners getting saved
and learning the Bible has always been through the ministry of already
saved Christians who know the Bible. We see this illustrated beautifully
in Acts 8 with the salvation of the Ethiopian eunuch.

“And Philip ran thither to him,
and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou
what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide
me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The
place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to
the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not
his mouth:…Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same
scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.” Acts 8:30-32,35 (KJV)

The eunuch has Phillip sent to him by God for Bible study, but one minute after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, all the ‘Phillips’ will be gone. Movies like Left Behind and others
like to show people who, after realizing thier loved ones were taken in
the Rapture, picking up theirs Bibles to read them and get saved. But
how can they do that if there are no more saved Christians in the world
to teach them the Bible? Not only that, Paul says that people who reject
the gospel of the grace of God in the days before the Rapture of the
Church get tagged with the “strong delusion” so they believe the lie of
Antichrist instead of the truth. Don’t believe me? Read it:

“And
then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with
the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his
coming: Even him, whose coming is after the
working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with
all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for
this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe
a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 (KJV)

See that?
The people left behind are boxed in on all sides. They can’t understand
the Bible, there are no Christians to witness to them, and God sends
them a strong delusion to guarantee they will fall for a lie.

“Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the
land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the
words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the
north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of
the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.” Amos 8:11-13 (KJV)

This is the famine for hearing the word of God that Amos saw, and it is truly terrifying.

My soul thrills whenever I think about
the coming Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, and what a glorious
moment that shall be. But when I think about what life will be like for
those left behind, it becomes heartbreaking to contemplate. Imagine
people’s very souls drying up because there won’t be any nourishment
from the Bible to feed them, and worse, there won’t even be the chance
that they will somehow “figure it out”.

God in His mercy sends the 144,000 Witnesses
to teach and preach the Bible one last time, and to open people’s eyes
to the truth one last time. But oh, at what a price does it finally
come. You have to successfully resist taking the Mark, resist
worshipping the image or name of the Antichrist, and if you are found
with a Bible you are put to death immediately. Whew! No thank you,
please have me excused from that mess.

Job, a type of the Jews in the time of Jacob’s trouble, said that the word of God was more than his “necessary food” in Job 23:12 (KJV).

Feast on it while you still can.

The True Identity Of Melchizedek The King Of Salem As Revealed In The King James Bible

We first meet Melchizedek in the book of Genesis at something called
the Battle of the Kings. This where Lot was captured and his uncle Abram
(God had not yet changed his name) goes to get him back. I love this
passage because you get to see the fire in Abraham, mounting up on
horses and calling his army of servant-soldiers together and they go and
bring Lot back by military might. This is where things really get
interesting.

The
righteous “king of Salem” who is presented in mystery, Melchizedek,
will one day rule openly as the King of all the Earth for a thousand
literal, actual years from Jerusalem.

“And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram
of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the
most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he
gave him tithes of all.” Genesis 14:18-20 (KJV)

For some reason,
over my years in Baptist churches, whenever you brought up the subject
of who Melchizedek might be, it always seem to upset people. Most
pastors I knew would shy away from the topic because it might cause
“controversy”. (oh no, not that!). And come to think of it, I cannot
recall a single sermon devoted to who Melchizedek might be.

So I thought it might be both fun and edifying if today we opened the pages of God’s preserved word, the King James Bible,
to see if perhaps the LORD might talk to my Lord, and be pleased to
reveal to us the true identity of the mysterious Melchizedek. With that,
I have already given you Clue #1 as to who Melchizedek is.

The Mysterious King of Salem and Abraham meet

We first meet Melchizedek in the book of Genesis at something called the Battle of the Kings. This where Lot was captured and his uncle Abram (God had not yet changed his name)
goes to get him back. I love this passage because you get to see the
fire in Abraham, mounting up on horses and calling his army of
servant-soldiers together and they go and bring Lot back by military
might. This is where things really get interesting.

As Abraham returns from rescuing the wayward Lot,
he is met primarily by two kings. First, the king of Sodom, where we
get the words sodomite and sodomy from, greet Abraham, and also someone
named Melchizedek, who is the king of Salem.

Abraham wants nothing
to do with the king of Sodom, and gives him a fairly harsh rebuke. But
shockingly, Abraham, upon meeting Melchizedek, pays him tithes of all he
had. For further light on this, the story goes into detail in the book
of Hebrews, as we read here:

“For
this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met
Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To
whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by
interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem,
which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without
descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made
like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how
great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.” Hebrews 7:1-4 (KJV)

As you read the description of Melchisedec (spelling in Hebrews is different because it’s written in Greek),
who does this man sound like to you? He has no mother, no father, no
‘beginning of days’ and he is made like unto the ‘Son of God’, Jesus
Christ. Sure sounds like Hebrews is describing Jesus to me, right? Well,
hold on now. Not so fast.

Hebrews says that Melchisedec is “like unto” the Son of God, it does not say he is
the Son of God. For this reason, a lot of pastors I think shy away from
preaching about Melchisedec/Melchizedek because, even though he looks a
lot like Jesus, and Abram/Abraham pays him tithes like he would pay
unto God, the Bible does not expressly say that Melchizedek actually is
Jesus Christ. Right?

Boy oh boy, if only there was a verse or two or three, or seven, that plainly said Melchizedek and Jesus Christ were one and the same. Oh wait! (insert sound of screeching brakes here), what about Psalm 110?

Psalm 110, though only 7 verses long, is a marvelously mind-blowing passage for all the scripture it packs into it.

There is so much Bible action happening here,
almost don’t know where to start first. So let’s start with verse 1. My
King James Bible says that Psalm 110 is a ‘Psalm of David’, so we know
who wrote it. It would behoove you to also recall as we start that when
Jesus returns at the Second Coming with us on horseback, the Bible says
He sits on the ‘throne of David’.

“[[A Psalm of David.]] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” Psalm 110:1 (KJV)

In verse 1, we see the fully-capitalized Name of LORD
that denotes God the Father, and the capital-L Name of Lord, which
denotes God the Son, Jesus Christ. They are talking with each other and
having a conversation related to the Battle of Armageddon at the Second
Coming.

“The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.” Psalm 110:2,3 (KJV)

For you Bible believers who are ‘rightly dividing’ on a regular basis, this immediately brings to mind the following sister passages connecting this to Jesus Christ.

“The
LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” Joel 3:16 (KJV)

“And
he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from
Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top
of Carmel shall wither.” Amos 1:2 (KJV)

Connecting all these passages proves
that it is God the Father and God the Son conversing in Psalm 110, and
it also shows you that God the Father and God the Son are one in the
same. Both Joel and Amos prophesy regarding the Second Coming, and both
refer to Jesus as LORD, a term for God the Father. Blissful harmony.

But what about Melchizedek? Glad you asked. Back to Psalm 110 where we pick up the action here:

“The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.” Psalm 110:4 (KJV)

Here we have God the Father,
talking to His Son Jesus, and saying that He Jesus is a high priest
“for ever” after the order of Melchizedek. So are we to understand that
Jesus is just a high priest in this mysterious priestly line? No, we are
not. After all, Jesus came first:

“Who
is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For
by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, whether they bet hrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him,
and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things
consist.” Colossians 1:15-17 (KJV)

Let’s pause for a moment and remember where we started.
Psalm 110 show God the Father discussing the Battle of Armageddon with
God the Son, and it is recorded by the king of Israel, David. Let us
also remind ourselves how David and Jesus, two kings, are connected in
the Millennial Kingdom.

“And in
mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth
in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting
righteousness.” Isaiah 16:5 (KJV)

“And,
behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and
shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the
Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of
his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:31-33 (KJV)

The throne that Jesus Christ will rule from
during the earthly Millennial Kingdom is called the ‘throne of David’.
David is a man after ‘God’s own heart’. Jesus will rule the world in
righteousness as David ruled Israel.

Psalm 110 gives of a complete picture
of God the Father sending God the Son, Jesus, to rule the Earth from
the throne of David. David is a witness to this conversation as he
writes Psalm 110, prophesying that one Day Jesus, his Lord, will rule
from his own throne.

Melchizedek is none other than Jesus Christ,
and the “order of Melchizedek” is a holy lineage that connects David and
Jesus, and shows us a direct pathway that starts in judgment and war in
Genesis 14, and ends in judgment and war in Revelation 19.

Still not convinced? Let’s let Jesus have the last word:

“And
Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the
scribes that Christ is the Son of David? For David himself said by the
Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I
make thine enemies thy footstool. David therefore himself calleth him
Lord; and whence is he then his son? And the common people heard him gladly.” Mark 12:35-37 (KJV)

Jesus Christ sits on the right hand of God right now,
and the Day where His enemies are made “his footstool” is the Battle of
Armageddon at the Second Coming. And the throne that Jesus is given is
the throne of David. And the righteous “king of Salem” who is presented
in mystery, Melchizedek, will then rule openly as the King of all the
Earth for a thousand literal, actual years from Jerusalem. The day that
the King of Peace actually brings peace to the City of Peace, on David’s
throne. Complete harmony.
