Black Lives Matter Criminals Attack The Police In St. Louis And Attempt To Shut Down Local Shopping Mall

Black Lives Matter thugs hurled bricks at police officers. Three police
officers were transported to the hospital. U2 already cancelled their
concert scheduled for Saturday in St. Louis because police were unable
to provide protection for the audience following the Black Lives Matter
violence Friday. Now protesters want to shut down malls.

Black
Lives Matter protests spilled over into Saturday after Jason Stockley, a
former St. Louis police officer was acquitted of first-degree murder
charges in the shooting of Anthony Lamar Smith.

EDITOR’S NOTE:
Back when OJ Simpson was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and friend
Ronald Goldman, everyone including the lawyers that got him off knew he
was guilty. Millions were outraged when the cowardly killer was allowed
to go free, but the prosecution was unable to make their case, and
that’s how justice works in America. Number of  non-black people who
publicly rioted over that ruling and looted and destroyed property?
Zero. Black Lives Matter protested the acquittal of St, Louis cop Jason
Stockly in the shooting death of Anthony Lamar Smith in the only way
they know how. They held innocent people captive, issued threats of
physical violence to local store owners, and tried to shut down a
shopping mall. This is criminal behavior, and thankfully dozens of them
were arrested. It is time to petition the White House to have Black
Lives Matter declared a domestic terrorist organization. #AllLivesMatter

Black Lives Matter thugs hurled bricks at police officers. Three police officers were transported to the hospital. U2
already cancelled their concert scheduled for Saturday in St. Louis
because police were unable to provide protection for the audience
following the Black Lives Matter violence Friday. Now protesters want to
shut down malls.

Protesters
stormed West County Mall in St. Louis, forcing a temporary shut down.
Macys staffers closed their doors out of fear as protesters tried to
march into the store.

A few hundred people walked through West County Center in Des Peres,
an upscale community west of St. Louis, loudly chanting slogans such as
“black lives matter” and “it is our duty to fight for our freedom” to
decry the judge’s verdict Friday clearing ex-St. Louis police officer
Jason Stockley of first-degree murder in the 2011 shooting death of
Anthony Lamar Smith. A short time later, they demonstrated at
Chesterfield Mall and at a festival featuring restaurant food from
across the region. No arrests were reported at any of the
demonstrations.

The mall protests followed raucous daytime marches
in downtown St. Louis and through the city’s posh Central West End area
during the night. Protesters were making it clear, they said, that the
entire region, not just predominantly black areas of St. Louis, should
feel uncomfortable with the verdict and its impact.

“I don’t think
racism is going to change in America until people get uncomfortable,”
said Kayla Reed of the St. Louis Action Council, a protest organizer.

Susanna
Prins, a 27-year-old white woman from University City, another St.
Louis suburb, carried a sign reading, “White silence is violence.” “Not
saying or doing anything makes you complicit in the brutalization of our
friends and neighbors,” Prins said.
Smith’s death is just one of several
high-profile U.S. cases in recent years in which a white officer killed
a black suspect, including the 2014 killing of Michael Brown in nearby
Ferguson that sparked months of angry and sometimes violent protests.

Republican
Gov. Eric Greitens was highly critical during his 2016 campaign of how
former Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon managed the Ferguson protests,
suggesting that with the right presence and leadership there could have
been peace by the second night.

In
advance of the Stockley verdict, Greitens met with Smith’s fiancĂ©e,
black state lawmakers, black St. Louis faith leaders and law enforcement
in the hopes of projecting a shared message that peaceful protest would
be tolerated but violence wouldn’t.

Before the verdict, Greitens
put the National Guard on standby, and some troops were deployed Friday
night to guard fire stations and other “critical infrastructure” that
Greitens didn’t specify. He was in St. Louis Friday night and met with
local law enforcement officials.

Police erected barricades around
their own headquarters and the courthouse and dozens of officers in flak
jackets and helmets who wielded batons and shields corralled
demonstrators throughout the day and evening.

Demonstrators occasionally lobbed objects into the fortified line of officers, who used pepper spray to repel the crowd.

Tensions
flared several times, including when protesters blocked a bus full of
riot officers, damaged a police cruiser with rocks and later broke a
window and spattered red paint on the home of Mayor Lyda Krewson.

After a tense standoff at the mayor’s home, police used tear gas to clear the area.

Police
said they made nearly two-dozen arrests before dark and more in the
evening, though they still hadn’t provided an updated figure more than
12 hours later.

Police reported that 10 officers suffered injuries
by the end of the night, including a broken jaw and dislocated
shoulder, and some journalists reported having equipment damaged and
being threatened by protesters.

Anticipating more demonstrations
Saturday, the band U2 canceled its evening concert in St. Louis because
the police department said it wouldn’t be able to provide its standard
protection for the event, organizers said.

Police generally stayed
a step ahead of protesters on Friday, preventing them from efforts to
block an interstate highway or storm the city’s convention center.

Protesters
seemed to be taking a different tact on Saturday. During a morning
gathering in a suburban park they forced members of the media to stand
away from them, over the objections of reporters, including one from The
Associated Press. At that meeting, they devised the plan to meet at the
malls.

The civil disobedience followed the acquittal of Stockley
for fatally shooting Smith, 24, after the suspected drug dealer crashed
his car following a chase.

Stockley testified that he saw Smith
holding a silver revolver as he sped away and felt he was in imminent
danger as he was approaching the vehicle later.

Prosecutors said
Stockley planted a gun in Smith’s car after the shooting — Stockley’s
DNA was on the weapon but Smith’s wasn’t. Dashcam video from Stockley’s
cruiser captured him saying he was “going to kill this (expletive),
don’t you know it.” Less than a minute later, he shot Smith five times.

Stockley’s
lawyer dismissed the comment as “human emotions” uttered during a
dangerous pursuit and the judge said it could be ambiguous.

St.
Louis Circuit Judge Timothy Wilson said prosecutors didn’t prove beyond a
reasonable doubt that Stockley murdered Smith or that the officer
didn’t act in self-defense.

In an interview with the St. Louis
Post-Dispatch after the verdict, Stockley, 36, said he understands how
video of the shooting looks bad, but that he did nothing wrong.

“I
can feel for and I understand what the family is going through, and I
know everyone wants someone to blame, but I’m just not the guy,” said
Stockley, who left St. Louis’ police force in 2013 and moved to Houston.

Pope Francis Recalls Pedophile Priest After U.S. Justice Department Moved To Charge With Child Pornography

The Vatican declined to identify the priest, but said he was currently
in Vatican City and that Vatican prosecutors had launched their own
probe. If the accusations pan out, the case would be a major
embarrassment for the Vatican and Pope Francis, who has pledged "zero
tolerance" for sexual abuse. The diplomat would be the second from the
Vatican's diplomatic corps to face possible criminal charges for such
crimes during Francis' papacy. Any trial in the Vatican would come as
Francis' own financial czar, Cardinal George Pell, is on trial in his
native Australia for alleged historic sex abuse cases.

A
high-ranking priest working in the Vatican’s embassy in Washington has
been recalled after U.S. prosecutors asked for him to be charged there
and face trial in a child pornography investigation, Vatican and U.S.
officials said Friday.

“And the
woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and
precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of
abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her
forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF
HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
Revelation 17:4,5 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: Pope Francis vowed a “zero tolerance
policy to deal with the myriad pedophile Catholic priests accused of
child molestation around the globe, with a special focus in America. So
when the United States prosecutors identified a pedophile priest in the
Vatican’s embassy in Washington, what does Francis do? He immediately
recalls the accused man back to Rome and claims diplomatic immunity. In
other words, far from exercising his much-touted “zero tolerance” policy, Pope Francis appears to be shielding him from the law.

The Vatican declined to identify the priest, but said he was currently in Vatican City and that Vatican prosecutors had launched their own probe.

If
the accusations pan out, the case would be a major embarrassment for
the Vatican and Pope Francis, who has pledged “zero tolerance” for
sexual abuse. The diplomat would be the second from the Vatican’s
diplomatic corps to face possible criminal charges for such crimes
during Francis’ papacy. Any trial in the Vatican would come as Francis’
own financial czar, Cardinal George Pell, is on trial in his native Australia for alleged historic sex abuse cases.

The
State Department said it had asked the Vatican to lift the official’s
diplomatic immunity on Aug. 21. It said that request was denied three
days later. For the State Department to make such a request, its lawyers
would have needed to be convinced that there was reasonable cause for
criminal prosecution.

The circumstances that prompted prosecutors
to make the request, however, weren’t clear. The Justice Department,
which would have brought any charges, did not immediately comment.

In
a statement, the Vatican said the U.S. State Department had notified
the Vatican on Aug. 21 of a “possible violation of laws relating to
child pornography images” by one of its diplomats in Washington.

The Vatican said recalling the priest
was consistent with diplomatic practice of sovereign states. In
declining to identify him, the Vatican said the case was subject to
confidentiality while still under investigation. It said the Vatican had
asked for information about the case from the U.S; it wasn’t clear if
any had been provided.

The Vatican has recalled envoys before —
including its former ambassador to the Dominican Republic, who was
recalled in 2013 after being accused of sexually abusing young boys on
the Caribbean island. source

Islam-Loving England Seems Helpless To Keep London Safe Amidst Ongoing Attacks by Muslim Terrorists

Operation Temperer will see military personnel replacing police at key
sites such as nuclear power plants to free up extra armed police for
regular patrols. Mrs May said in a statement from Number 10: 'The Joint
Terrorism Analysis Centre has now decided to raise the national threat
level from severe to critical - this means their assessment is that a
further attack may be imminent.'

Soldiers
are being deployed on London’s streets as the terror threat level is
raised to critical amid fears the Parsons Green bomber could strike
again, Theresa May announced tonight.

EDITOR’S NOTE:
If I lived in London, I would be hard-pressed to decide which I feared
more, attacks from Islamic terrorists or a government who is unable and
unwilling to even utter the words ‘Islamic terror attack’. After 20
years of embracing Islam and allowing Muslim migrants to completely change the English culture,
I am sure that the ruling British elites are flummoxed as to why they
get attacked so often by Muslim terrorists. Mrs. May, I will tell you
why. When Muslim terrorists smell weakness of any kind, they attack. And
you and your Parliamentary talking heads are soft, weak, and the
perfect targets for Islamic terrorists.

Operation Temperer will see military personnel replacing police
at key sites such as nuclear power plants to free up extra armed police
for regular patrols. Scotland Yard said it is making ‘excellent’
progress in hunting the suspected terrorist who set off an improvised
bucket bomb on a packed commuter train by Parsons Green tube station in
west London at 8.20am.

Mrs May said in a statement from Number 10:
‘The Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre has now decided to raise the
national threat level from severe to critical – this means their
assessment is that a further attack may be imminent.’

2,000-Year-Old Bones of Jews Murdered by Romans Secretly Laid to Rest – Breaking Israel News – Re-Shared and administered by Aaron Halim

2,000-Year-Old Bones of Rebel Jews Murdered by Romans Finally Laid to Rest

“The death of His faithful ones is grievous in Hashem’s sight.” Psalms 116:14 (The Israel Bible™)
A
Christian archaeologist’s discovery of ancient bones in a cave in
Samaria unravelled a 2,000-year-old murder mystery, and led to the local
Jews performing a rare and powerful Torah commandment they believe will
help bring the Third Temple. The moving story brought Jews and
Christians together, emphasizing how the roots of both religions are
inextricably intertwined in the Holy Land.

Dr.
Scott Stripling, an archaeologist and provost of The Bible Seminary in
Texas, was exploring  a cave complex at Khirbet el-Maqatir near the city
of
Ofra
in Samaria in 2013 when he discovered a jumble of bones. Dr. Stripling
has been the co-director of the dig for 20 years on behalf the
Associates for Biblical Research.

“I have no doubt that these people were murdered in the first revolt in 69 CE at the hands of the Romans,” Dr. Stripling told Breaking Israel News. “It was a 2,000-year-old mass-murder mystery that was solved, and we now can tell their story.”

“Many
of the bones were disarticulated and jumbled, perhaps by animals, but
we were able to determine that one of the women was arthritic and
elderly, and one was a six-year-old child. Most of the skeletons
belonged to young women.”

image: https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/scottstripling.jpg

Dr. Scott Stripling (Courtesy)
Dr.
Stripling explained that in a last-ditch attempt to avoid being
slaughtered by the Romans, the people of the town repurposed the olive
press cave, broke through to a cistern, and dug a hiding system.

“We found the skeletons of six people in the olive press
area, and fragments of bones from two people in the smaller hiding
area,” Dr. Stripling said. “The last moments of their lives must have
been terrifying.

“The men
must have made their last stand in a massive tower above, since it has
Roman arrowheads and nails from the Roman soldiers’ shoes were embedded
in the stones,” he explained. “Apparently they were trying to hide their
families in the caves below.”

Anthropologist
Marina Faerman of Hebrew University determined that the bones were from
seven women aged 6-60, and one male youth. Elisabetta Boaretto at the
Weizmann Institute conducted carbon dating tests to date the bones to
the first century BCE. This result was consistent with coins found at
the site, identified by numismatist Dr. Yoav Farhi, and pottery
deciphered by ceramic typologist Peretz Reuven.

Dr.
Stripling intended to rebury the bones at the site where they were
found. Frequently, human remains found at archaeological sites are
stored away in universities without ceremony. Yaakov Ehrlich, a surveyor
who has volunteered with Dr. Stripling for many years, approached him
and requested that after the scientific tests and studies were complete,
he be permitted to give the bones a proper burial.

Ehrlich’s
request to bury the bones came from a powerful Torah imperative that
transcends simply honoring the dead. Ehrlich was obligated to care for
the bones found at the dig since they were from individuals who passed
away and have no one else to take care of their burial. In Jewish law,
this is referred to as
meit miztvah, a Torah commandment so important that it supersedes most other commandments.concerning meit mitzvah, the bones should be buried where they are found.

WWIII Fears Sparked As North Korea Fires Nuclear-Capable Missile From Pyongyang Into Japanese Air Space

North Korea carried out its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on
Sept. 3, worsening already fraught U.S.-North Korea relations. In
response, the United Nations Security Council voted to intensify
sanctions, including imposing a limit on oil imports, against the hermit
state. While the duration and scope of such a conflict would be
difficult to measure, North Korea remained an immense risk, Fordham
said.

Japan
issued a missile alert to mobile phones and on national television,
notifying citizens that a missile may have been launched by North Korea,
Bloomberg News reports.

EDITOR’S NOTE: With
each passing few weeks, North Korea keeps firing missiles, many of them
nuclear capable. President Trump has been showing tremendous restraint,
choosing for the time being to use sanctions instead of a military
option. But as the missiles continue to fly across Japanese airspace,
the military option is growing more and more likely.

The unidentified missile passed over Japan airspace near Hokkaido on Friday at 7.06 am local time. The missile was fired from North Korea in an eastern direction, according to South Korea military.

The
outbreak of military conflict on the Korean Peninsula would be
destabilizing and could possibly result in a global war, according to
Citi’s top global political analyst.

While it was impossible to put a number
on the scale of the North Korea risk, war games carried out through
history have simulated what could happen as a result, said Tina Fordham,
managing director and chief global analyst at Citi.

“A
conflict on the Korean Peninsula would not only be very disruptive in
the region, but could potentially lead to World War III because of the
U.S. security guarantee, so it would be internationalized overnight,”
Fordham told CNBC’s “Street Signs” on the sidelines of the Milken
Institute Asia Summit in Singapore.

North Korea carried out
its sixth and most powerful nuclear test on Sept. 3, worsening already
fraught U.S.-North Korea relations. In response, the United Nations
Security Council voted to intensify sanctions, including imposing a
limit on oil imports, against the hermit state.

While the duration
and scope of such a conflict would be difficult to measure, North Korea
remained an immense risk, Fordham said.

“It is the single biggest
geopolitical threat and one that would also move markets … When we look
at political risk, we look at whether it’s likely to cause an oil price
shock or a growth shock. And in the North Korea case, if the worst were
to happen, it would be both,” she added. source

SIN CITY: Nevada Set To Become First State To Allow Marijuana Lounges For Stoners To Get High • Now The End Begins – Re-Shared and administered by Aaron Halim

SIN CITY: Nevada Set To Become First State To Allow Marijuana Lounges For Stoners To Get High

The Nevada legislator who spearheaded much of the legalization
movement, state Sen. Tick Segerblom (D), has said he thinks marijuana
will attract new tourists to the state. “We’re going to really market
this thing around the world,” Segerblom told The Hill in a recent
interview. But legalization skeptics say the growing prevalence of
marijuana stores, and lounges where those products can be consumed,
increase the risk of crime associated with the nascent industry.
las-vegas-nevada-marijuana-pot-stoners

Nevada
could become the first state to allow users of recreational marijuana
to light up in clubs and lounges, a state legal body said this week,
opening a new front in what is already a booming pot business.

“Ye
are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not
of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
1 Thessalonians 5:5,6 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE:
Watching the gradual rush towards legalizing pot has been for me a
subject of great amusement. Just like when the lottery first became
legal back in the 1970’s, and everyone was all excited about the new
source of public school funding which was going to “erase poverty” in
the worst of neighborhoods, the fight to legalize pot comes with similar
outlandish and completely not true claims. Will pot lounges “boost
tourism”? Yep, sure will. It will also boost the crime rate, boost the
poverty rate, and boost your car while they’re at it. The Bible commands
us to be sober, and you cannot be sober and high at the same time.

The state Legislative Counsel Bureau said Monday
that state law does not prohibit city or county governments from
operating a lounge or facility in which patrons may use marijuana.

Cities
and counties are allowed to adopt their own rules governing those
businesses and decide whether they are required to obtain special
permits, the bureau said. The ruling means tourists and visitors may
soon have a place to consume marijuana in public. Pot smoking is banned
under state law in Nevada’s hotels and casinos.

None of the four
other states where marijuana is legal for recreational use — Washington,
Colorado, Alaska and Oregon — currently allow so-called pot lounges.
All four states restrict marijuana use to private residences. The three
other states where legislators and regulators are finalizing rules in
advance of legalized marijuana — California, Massachusetts and Maine —
are not currently considering legal pot lounges.

Legalization
advocates say pot lounges are a logical step, especially if states where
marijuana is allowed hope to connect their pot industry to tourism.

“Allowing
regulated social use areas is a good solution that recognizes cannabis
consumers’ rights to congregate just like alcohol drinkers can in bars
while also protecting nonconsumers’ rights not to inhale secondhand
smoke,” said Tom Angell, the founder of Marijuana Majority, a
pro-legalization group. “It should be a no brainer, especially in
tourist towns like Las Vegas where visitors don’t have private
residences they can go back to to imbibe.”

The Nevada legislator
who spearheaded much of the legalization movement, state Sen. Tick
Segerblom (D), has said he thinks marijuana will attract new tourists to
the state.

“We’re going to really market this thing around the world,” Segerblom told The Hill in a recent interview.

But legalization skeptics say the growing prevalence
of marijuana stores, and lounges where those products can be consumed,
increase the risk of crime associated with the nascent industry.

“The
people of Nevada wanted folks not to go to jail for using marijuana,”
said Kevin Sabet, who heads the anti-legalization group Smart Approaches
to Marijuana. “I don’t think they envisioned pot clubs in their
neighborhood.”

“Data show that areas around marijuana stores have
higher crime and issues with second-hand smoke and other nuisances. I
can’t imagine pot clubs will be a good thing for the state,” Sabet said.
Cities will still have to pass
their own ordinances governing marijuana lounges after the state
legislature killed a measure that would have legalized them earlier this
year. Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) told the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Tuesday he is no fan of the prospect of lounges.

“I did not support them previously,” Sandoval told the paper. “I don’t support them now.”

Sandoval
did not support the ballot measure legalizing marijuana last year, but
he has said he will work with the federal Justice Department to allow
legal marijuana now that it has passed. Sandoval and other governors of
states that have legalized pot have been concerned that the Trump
administration may reverse a long-standing Obama administration
agreement that deemphasized prosecutions of marijuana-related businesses
in their states.

“I don’t know what direction the Justice
Department is going to go, but it is going to raise some legal issues,”
Sandoval told The Hill in a recent interview. “I want a model system.”

Nevada became the fifth state to allow marijuana
use for recreational purposes on July 1, just eight months after state
voters approved a ballot measure. California, Maine and Massachusetts,
where voters also passed legalization measures, will begin legal pot
sales next year. source

Fed Up With Useless, Do-Nothing Republicans, Trump Finds Success In New Alliances With Democrat Leaders

Frustrated by the failure of GOP majorities in both chambers to pass
his agenda, President Trump followed through on threats to work with
Democrats. Signs suggest it was not a one-off deal, as the president
already is discussing other topics with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.
Hurricanes Harvey and Irma helped spark his decision. Trump was clear
that, especially on storm relief, he wanted fast, bipartisan action that
reflected the way ordinary Americans were helping each other,
especially in hard-hit Houston. With Irma aiming at Florida and the
southeast, the president recognized that the public would have rightly
viewed political squabbling during national emergencies as an
infuriating failure.

Keep
these numbers in mind: 316 to 90 and 80 to 17. They were the lopsided
votes in the House and Senate in support of the deal President Trump
made with Democratic leaders on storm aid, the debt limit and government
funding.

EDITOR’S NOTE: From the way the
GOP in Washington are acting, you would think they were the ones that
lost the election and not the Democrats. The Republicans have spent more
time resisting President Trump than they have passing the legislation
the people elected them to do. President Trump is 100% correct in now
bypassing the pusillanimous GOP and forming new alliances with the
Democrats. The GOP would do well to remember that we didn’t vote
“Republican” in 2016, we voted for Donald Trump. Get on the Trump Train, Republicans, or get run over. That is all.

Remarkably, all the no voters were Republicans.
The numbers shout that we are witnessing a potential turning point in
the Trump presidency, one that could further shake up Washington and
rattle the calcified political parties.

Frustrated by the failure of GOP majorities
in both chambers to pass his agenda, President Trump followed through
on threats to work with Democrats. Signs suggest it was not a one-off
deal, as the president already is discussing other topics with Chuck
Schumer and Nancy Pelosi.

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma helped spark his decision.
Trump was clear that, especially on storm relief, he wanted fast,
bipartisan action that reflected the way ordinary Americans were helping
each other, especially in hard-hit Houston. With Irma aiming at Florida
and the southeast, the president recognized that the public would have
rightly viewed political squabbling during national emergencies as an
infuriating failure.

Still, the circumstances didn’t stop all the
GOP grumbling, with some Republicans astonished that a president from
their party had accepted Dems’ terms on the debt limit to get a quick
deal. Not surprisingly, Trump was hardly apologetic, firing back on
Twitter: “Republicans, sorry, but I’ve been hearing about Repeal &
Replace for 7 years, didn’t happen!” — a reference to the failure to
overturn ObamaCare.

He also issued a warning on tax reform,
tweeting: “Republicans must start the Tax Reform/Tax Cut legislation
ASAP. Don’t wait until the end of September. Needed now more than ever.
Hurry!”

The developments show the president
shedding the party straitjacket and being true to his disrupter
candidacy. If he continues and is successful, he could create a new
coalition that includes revolving members of both parties, depending on
the issue.

That’s an ambitious scenario, given the hyper-partisan
atmosphere in Washington and the cultural and political chasms across
the country. But at least the president is proving in the short term
that it is possible to get things done — and get them done quickly, a
point he emphasized by signing the legislative package as soon as it
reached his desk.

Naturally, the prospect of a bipartisan approach alarms
both ends of the political spectrum, with leftists angry that Schumer
and Pelosi dared to even talk to Trump, let alone make a deal. That
attitude is both a cause and effect of the gridlock that has gripped the
capital for the better part of two decades and turned compromise into
an insult.

Yet beyond the professional activists, ideologues and
consultants, much of America yearns for more government cooperation and
less combat.

Like children watching their parents fight, most
voters just want a productive peace, not an endless battle for total
victory that yields nothing of common value. Above all, they want a
government that works for them, not one fixated on partisan scorekeeping
and ideological litmus tests.

Indeed, Trump’s promise to change Washington
was a key ingredient in his victory, and he may be uniquely positioned
to carve out a new model. Throughout his business life, he’s been on
both sides of big issues, and comes to the presidency with less of a
fixed political core than anyone in recent memory.

That’s made
him understandingly suspect to many conservatives and his inexperience
has been compounded by mistakes, but that outsider, pragmatic
perspective can now work in his favor. If he can find both common ground
and real solutions, we might look back one day and see a more
bipartisan approach to governing as the one silver lining of the weather
calamities of 2017. source

The following is an interview with Christian
author Andreas Knapp. A poet, priest, and popular author in Germany,
Knapp left a secure position as head of Freiburg Seminary to live and
work among the poor as a member of the Little Brothers of the Gospel, a
religious order inspired by Charles de Foucauld. Today he shares an
apartment with three brothers in Leipzig’s largest housing project, and
ministers to prisoners and refugees. His latest book, The Last
Christians, recounts the stories of refugees in his neighborhood and of
displaced people in camps in Kurdistan, northern Iraq. Photo courteys: ©Thinkstock/Memedozaslan

1. What is a Syriac Christian?

Syriac Christians belong to very old churches that date back to the
first Christian communities. They use Aramaic, the language of Jesus, in
their church services and, in some cases, in daily life as well. The
Syriac churches have a rich history: Their monasteries saved the
philosophical, mathematical and medical handwritings of ancient Greece
and Persia, and Syriac Christians translated Aristotle and Hippocrates
into Aramaic and then into Arabic. As missionaries, they went as far as
China, India, and the Philippines. Growing discrimination and
persecution from Muslims has caused the recent decline of Syriac
Christianity in Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Turkey.

JUDGMENT DAY? Massive Solar Flares Erupt As Largest Recorded Hurricane Irma In Atlantic Roars Towards U.S. • Now The End Begins – Re-Shared and administered by Aaron Halim

JUDGMENT DAY? Massive Solar Flares Erupt As Largest Recorded Hurricane Irma In Atlantic Roars Towards U.S.

Experts say Irma is now so powerful it is registering on devices
designed to detect earthquakes. Scientists picked up the background
noise of winds causing trees to move and crashing ocean waves on their
earthquake-detecting seismometers.  It is expected to become the second
powerful storm to thrash the U.S. mainland in as many weeks after
devastating Hurricane Harvey. A mandatory evacuation is under way in the
Florida Keys. In addition to Irma, Tropical Storm Jose has now formed
behind it in the open Atlantic and is expected to develop into a
hurricane. A third tropical storm - Katia - has also formed in the Gulf
of Mexico with winds but is expected to stay offshore until Friday
morning.

‘May
God save us all’: Mass evacuation as Hurricane Irma makes landfall in
the Caribbean with 185 mph winds after swelling to the size of FRANCE as
Red Cross braces for ‘major humanitarian response’

“And
there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and
upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the
waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven
shall be shaken.”
Luke 21:25,26 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE:
We are not in the time of Jacob’s trouble, we know the Church will be
removed before that, but at times like these it sure feels like the
judgments listed in Revelation are falling down upon us. We watched just
last week Hurricane Harvey caused nearly $160 billion dollars worth of
damage in Texas with 30 people dead, and just a few days after that
Hurricane Irma appeared and immediately gained Cat 5 status. Well today,
the sun had massive solar flares not seen in over a decade. with more
on the way. Kinda sounds like ‘birth pangs’ to me! Flight #777 on Titus
2:13 Airlines now boarding…are you ready for what comes next?

Sun unleashes most powerful solar flare since 2006

Two powerful solar flares erupted from the surface of the sun on Wednesday, disrupting radio communications on Earth’s day side. And we might see some other effects in the coming days, mainly in the form of northern lights.

Solar flares occur in cooler regions of the sun, called sunspots.
Like Earth, the sun has a magnetic field, sort of like a looped rubber
band: at one end is the south pole, the other the north. And as the sun
rotates, magnetic loops become wrapped, becoming tighter and tighter as
they twist. If they become too entangled, the stored energy is released
in the form of a solar flare.

These flares are measured on a scale from one to nine in C, M and X classes, with X being the most powerful.

On
Wednesday, two solar flares erupted from sunspot region 2673: an X9.3
flare followed by a an X2.2 flare. The last such powerful X-class flare
was 9.0 on Dec. 5, 2006. The flares were powerful enough to cause radio
disruptions on the day side of Earth but will continue to disrupt HAM
radio communications into the night, space meteorologist Tamitha Skov said in a Periscope Live video.

Mass
evacuations are underway today after Hurricane Irma slammed into the
Caribbean with 185mph winds as aid agencies braced for a ‘major
humanitarian response’.

America’s National Hurricane Center
said Irma had strengthened into a dangerous Category 5 storm as it made
its first landfall in islands of northeast Caribbean on a path that
could take it to the United States – causing thousands to start panic
buying and preparing to evacuate.

This
morning, the eye of the ‘potentially catastrophic’ hurricane –
estimated to be the size of France – lashed Barbuda just hours after
officials warned people to seek protection from Irma’s ‘onslaught’ in a
statement that closed with: ‘May God protect us all.’

Heavy rain and howling winds from the hurricane
– measured as the most powerful ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean –
also raked Antigua, sending debris flying as people huddled in their
homes or government shelters. The French islands Saint-Barthelemy and
Saint-Martin have also been hit this morning.
U.S. President Donald Trump declared emergencies in Florida,
Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and authorities in the Bahamas
said they would evacuate the residents of six islands at the southern
end of the island chain.
