EDITOR’S NOTE: In what can only be called a stroke of genius, Ted Cruz’ idea to use seized assets from convicted drug felons to finance President Trump’s border wall is an awesome idea. Not only is it incredible irony, Mexico still winds up paying for the wall’s construction. An idea so good even a Democrat couldn’t be against it, right? 

“Today I introduced the El Chapo Act, which reserves billions in forfeited assets to pay for border security,” Cruz said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order Act — or the El Chapo Act — makes reference to Guzmán, who was extradited from Mexico to the United States in January.

Guzmán pleaded not guilty to 17 criminal charges related to his drug empire — including corruption, murder, conspiracy, drug importation and money laundering.

Cruz said that, if convicted, Guzmán’s forfeited expansive wealth would be redirected for use to build a border wall and to enforce border security, instead of for use by the U.S. Department of Treasury for unspecified reasons — a standard procedure when assets of drug traffickers are seized.

Cruz said that forfeited funds from other drug cartels could also be used.

“Senator Cruz estimates one drug lord alone may be worth $14 billion in confiscated funds. That would be good start toward paying for wall,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said in a statement. “Ted Cruz is exactly right to focus on confiscating Mexican drug money to pay for the wall. What a grand and fitting irony.”

Guzmán’s Sinaloa Cartel is credited with dominating the illegal drug market in nearly the entire United States. “El Chapo” — meaning “The Short One” or “shorty” — so dubbed because of his 5-foot-6-inch frame, was detained in Guatemala in 1993 and then extradited to Mexico to face murder and drug trafficking charges.

He escaped from prison in 2001 by hiding in a laundry cart after bribing prison guards, and was re-captured in February 2014. He was captured a second time in the city of Los Mochis in his home state of Sinaloa on Jan. 8 after escaping from Mexico’s Altiplano Federal Prison on July 11, 2015. source

Israel struck an arms supply hub operated by the Lebanese group Hezbollah near Damascus airport on Thursday, Syrian rebel and regional intelligence sources said, targeting weapons sent from Iran via commercial and military cargo planes.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The enemies of Israel, Hezbollah in particular, are being more and more supplied with weapons and missiles in Syria from Iran. The Psalm 83 War is waiting in the wings as the IDF increasingly has to carry out more airstrikes like this one to keep Israel safe. 

Video carried on Lebanese TV and shared on social media showed the pre-dawn airstrikes caused a fire around the airport east of the Syrian capital, suggesting fuel sources or weapons containing explosives were hit.

Israel does not usually comment on action it takes in Syria. But Intelligence Minister Israel Katz, speaking to Army Radio from the United States, appeared to confirm involvement.

“The incident in Syria corresponds completely with Israel’s policy to act to prevent Iran’s smuggling of advanced weapons via Syria to Hezbollah,” he said. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had “said that whenever we receive intelligence that indicates an intention to transfer advanced weapons to Hezbollah, we will act”, he added.

Syria: Damascus airport rocked by ‘Israeli strikes’ on arms depot

An Israeli military spokeswoman said: “We can’t comment on such reports.”

Two senior rebel sources in the Damascus area, citing monitors in the eastern outskirts of the capital, said five strikes hit an ammunition depot used by Iran-backed militias.

Lebanon’s al-Manar television, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, said early indications were that the strikes hit warehouses and fuel tanks. It said there no casualties.

RUSSIA AND IRAN BACK ASSAD

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is backed in his six-year-old civil war by Russia, Iran and regional Shi’ite militias. These include Hezbollah, a close ally of Tehran and enemy of Israel, which describes the group as the biggest threat it faces on its borders. The two fought a month-long war in 2006.

Syrian military defectors familiar with the airport say it plays a major role as a conduit for arms from Tehran.

Alongside military planes, there are a number of commercial cargo aircraft that fly from Iran to resupply arms to Hezbollah and other groups. The flights go directly from Iran to Syria, passing through Iraqi airspace.

As well as weapons, hundreds of Shi’ite militia fighters from Iraq and Iran have been flown to Damascus international airport. Intelligence sources put their numbers at 10,000 to 20,000 and say they play a significant role in military campaigns launched by the Syrian army.

Israel has largely kept out the war in Syria, but officials have consistently referred to two red lines that have prompted a military response in the past: any supply of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah, and the establishment of “launch sites” for attacks on Israel from the Golan Heights region.

Speaking in Moscow on Wednesday, where he was attending a security conference, Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman reiterated that Israel “will not allow Iranian and Hezbollah forces to be amassed on the Golan Heights border”.

During his visit, Lieberman held talks with Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, as part of efforts by Israel to coordinate with Moscow on actions in Syria and avoid the risk of confrontation.

A statement from the Defence Ministry said Lieberman had expressed concern to the Russian ministers over “Iranian activity in Syria and the Iranian use of Syrian soil as a base for arms smuggling to Hezbollah in Lebanon”.

A Western diplomat said the airstrikes sent a clear political message to Iran, effectively saying it could no longer use Iraqi and Syrian airspace to resupply proxies with impunity.

Speaking to Reuters in an interview in Washington on Wednesday, Katz, the intelligence minister, said he was seeking an understanding with the Trump administration that Iran not be allowed to establish a permanent military foothold in Syria.

Israeli officials estimate that Iran commands around 25,000 fighters in Syria, including members of its own Revolutionary Guard, Shi’ite militants from Iraq and recruits from Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Israel has also said that Hezbollah has built up an arsenal of more than 100,000 rockets, many of which would be capable of striking anywhere within Israel’s territory. The last conflict between the two left 1,300 people dead and uprooted more than a million Lebanese and 300,000 to 500,000 Israelis. source

North Korea has released a terrifying new World War Three video showing a simulation of rocket attacks on the US Capitol and an American aircraft carrier

The propaganda film shows the White House in Pyongyang’s cross-hairs before an animation shows a missile descending on Washington DC and exploding in a giant fireball. Another simulation shows US warships being targeted by rockets while footage has also been taken from Kim Jong-un’s recent military parades and live-fire drills.

It comes as the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier continues to steam towards the Korean peninsula amid an escalating war of words between Pyongyang and Washington.

The video, accompanied by rousing music, starts by showing scenes from the massive military parade in the capital last weekend.

It then shows a terrifying array of rockets aiming towards the sky before pictures of American warships and the White House are shown with a target in the middle of the screen.

North Korea put on a musical show to mark the birthday of founding father Kim Il Sung which ended with a mock-up of rockets engulfing America in flames.

The choral performance was attended by dictator Kim Jong-un, the elder of Kim’s grandson, on Sunday, after a massive military parade in the capital.

The singing was followed by footage of its test-firing of a missile in February which, in the video, was joined by other missiles shooting into sky, passing over the Pacific and exploding in giant balls of flames in the United States.

The video ended with a picture of the American flag in flames, overlapping row after row of white crosses in a cemetery.

In March, Kim released a military propaganda video again depicting North Korean troops blowing up a US aircraft carrier. The film shows mocked-up footage of North Korean troops joyously destroying American bombers and fighting forces. source

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday a major conflict with North Korea is possible in the standoff over its nuclear and missile programs, but he would prefer a diplomatic outcome to the dispute

“There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea. Absolutely,” Trump told Reuters in an Oval Office interview ahead of his 100th day in office on Saturday.

Nonetheless, Trump said he wanted to peacefully resolve a crisis that has bedeviled multiple U.S. presidents, a path that he and his administration are emphasizing by preparing a variety of new economic sanctions while not taking the military option off the table.

“We’d love to solve things diplomatically but it’s very difficult,” he said.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday a major conflict with North Korea is possible in the standoff over its nuclear and missile programs, but he would prefer a diplomatic outcome to the dispute. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

In other highlights of the 42-minute interview, Trump was cool to speaking again with Taiwan’s president after an earlier telephone call with her angered China.

He also said he wants South Korea to pay the cost of the U.S. THAAD anti-missile defense system, which he estimated at $1 billion, and intends to renegotiate or terminate a U.S. free trade pact with South Korea because of a deep trade deficit with Seoul.

Asked when he would announce his intention to renegotiate the pact, Trump said: “Very soon. I’m announcing it now.”

Trump also said he was considering adding stops to Israel and Saudi Arabia to a Europe trip next month, emphasizing that he wanted to see an Israeli-Palestinian peace. He complained that Saudi Arabia was not paying its fair share for U.S. defense.

XI ‘TRYING VERY HARD’

Trump said North Korea was his biggest global challenge. He lavished praise on Chinese President Xi Jinping for Chinese assistance in trying to rein in Pyongyang. The two leaders met in Florida earlier this month.

“I believe he is trying very hard. He certainly doesn’t want to see turmoil and death. He doesn’t want to see it. He is a good man. He is a very good man and I got to know him very well.

“With that being said, he loves China and he loves the people of China. I know he would like to be able to do something, perhaps it’s possible that he can’t,” Trump said.

Trump spoke just a day after he and his top national security advisers briefed U.S. lawmakers on the North Korean threat and one day before Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will press the United Nations Security Council on sanctions to further isolate Pyongyang over its nuclear and missile programs.

The Trump administration on Wednesday declared North Korea “an urgent national security threat and top foreign policy priority.” It said it was focusing on economic and diplomatic pressure, including Chinese cooperation in containing its defiant neighbor and ally, and remained open to negotiations.

U.S. officials said military strikes remained an option but played down the prospect, though the administration has sent an aircraft carrier and a nuclear-powered submarine to the region in a show of force.

Any direct U.S. military action would run the risk of massive North Korean retaliation and huge casualties in Japan and South Korea and among U.S. forces in both countries.

‘I HOPE HE’S RATIONAL’

Trump, asked if he considered North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to be rational, said he was operating from the assumption that he is rational. He noted that Kim had taken over his country at an early age.

“He’s 27 years old. His father dies, took over a regime. So say what you want but that is not easy, especially at that age.

“I’m not giving him credit or not giving him credit, I’m just saying that’s a very hard thing to do. As to whether or not he’s rational, I have no opinion on it. I hope he’s rational,” he said. source

George Soros’ Soros Fund Management has quietly been financing the Kushner-backed real estate finance startup Cadre with a substantial credit line, according to sources familiar with the matter. A source familiar with the financing arrangement told The Real Deal that “Soros has had a long and productive relationship with the Kushner family.” Another source told TRD that Kushner Companies  president Laurent Morali played a key role arranging the financing, but a Kushner Companies spokesperson disputed that account, claiming that “Kushner Cos. has never been involved in Cadre in any capacity.

The irony of the Soros-Kushner connection is that Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, which Jared Kushner helped orchestrate, vilified George Soros. A November campaign video showed Soros’ face while Trump’s voice sounded off on “global special interests” who “don’t have your good in mind.”  The video was criticized by many for playing on anti-Semitic conspiracy theories targeting Soros, a wealthy former hedge fund manager who has long backed liberal causes around the globe.

US President Donald Trump refused to confirm reports that he would announce the transfer of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem during a visit to Israel next month, but hinted Thursday that he may clarify the issue at that time.

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:2,3 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: In June of 1967, Israel got tipped off that a mighty coalition of Muslim nations including Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq was planning to attack them. Israel struck first, and their attackers never even got their planes off the ground. On the ground in Israel, the IDF succeeded in wresting control of the Old City of Jerusalem from the Jordanian army. On the 50th anniversary of this event, President Trump will be in Israel to make an announcement on the timing of moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. In the meantime, Trump is keeping his cards close to the vest. Jerusalem Day this year will be celebrated on May 24th.

On Thursday, Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis, who earlier this year led a one-man fact-finding trip to scout locations for the embassy, said Trump would announce the relocation when he visits Israel at the end of May, fulfilling a campaign promise he appeared to walk back after assuming office. Asked about the relocation by Reuters, Trump demurred. “Ask me in a month on that,” he told the news agency. Trump also appeared to express frustration that Israelis and Palestinians continued to not have a peace deal, saying there was no reason for the conflict to persist.

“I want to see peace with Israel and the Palestinians,” he said. “There is no reason there’s not peace between Israel and the Palestinians — none whatsoever.”

Trump has said several times that he would work to broker an agreement to end the decades-old conflict, citing his business acumen and saying peace would be “the ultimate deal.” He is due to meet Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Washington early next month.

The Six Day War and the liberation of Jerusalem:

Trump had promised during his campaign to move the embassy, but has yet to follow through, with initial excitement in Israel dampening as the administration said it was only starting to explore the issue.

Following meetings with Arab leaders since taking office, and especially Jordan’s King Abdullah II at the National Prayer Breakfast, Trump said he would like to see the move take place eventually but that he wouldn’t go through with it right away.

Donald Trump Promises To Move Embassy From Tel Aviv To Jerusalem

Trump’s visit next month, from May 22-23 according to Israeli officials, will coincide with Jerusalem Day, which will mark the 50th anniversary since Israel’s capture of East Jerusalem in 1967 and the subsequent unification of the capital.

“What
better time could there be to announce the relocation of the US embassy
to Jerusalem than when you are over here celebrating with our Israeli
friends this very important 50th anniversary of the liberation of
Jerusalem?” DeSantis said.

The trip will also come a week before a waiver signed by predecessor Barack Obama pushing off the embassy relocation for security reasons will expire. Trump will have to decide at that point whether to extend the waiver another six months or let it lapse and move the embassy.

Congress passed a law, in 1995, mandating the embassy be moved to Jerusalem, but allowed the president to exercise a six-month waiver on national security grounds. Every president since, including Barack Obama’s predecessors George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, signed such a waiver every six months.

The embassy relocation would be a highly symbolic gesture, valued by Israel as confirmation of the city as its capital, but strongly opposed by Palestinians and the Arab world.

Trump’s pick to serve as US ambassador to Israel, David Friedman, was also highly vocal in his resolution that the president would move the embassy, saying in an announcement of his nomination that he expected to carry out his duties in Jerusalem.

Video carried on Lebanese TV and shared on social media showed the pre-dawn airstrikes caused a fire around the airport east of the Syrian capital, suggesting fuel sources or weapons containing explosives were hit.

Syrian state media said Israeli missiles hit a military position southwest of the airport, but did not mention arms or fuel. It said “Israeli aggression” had caused explosions and some material losses, but did not expand on the damage.

Israel does not usually comment on action it takes in Syria. But Intelligence Minister Israel Katz, speaking to Army Radio from the United States, appeared to confirm involvement.

“The incident in Syria corresponds completely with Israel’s policy to act to prevent Iran’s smuggling of advanced weapons via Syria to Hezbollah,” he said. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had “said that whenever we receive intelligence that indicates an intention to transfer advanced weapons to Hezbollah, we will act”, he added.

Syria: Damascus airport rocked by ‘Israeli strikes’ on arms depot

An Israeli military spokeswoman said: “We can’t comment on such reports.”

Two senior rebel sources in the Damascus area, citing monitors in the eastern outskirts of the capital, said five strikes hit an ammunition depot used by Iran-backed militias.

Lebanon’s al-Manar television, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, said early indications were that the strikes hit warehouses and fuel tanks. It said there no casualties.

RUSSIA AND IRAN BACK ASSAD

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is backed in his six-year-old civil war by Russia, Iran and regional Shi’ite militias. These include Hezbollah, a close ally of Tehran and enemy of Israel, which describes the group as the biggest threat it faces on its borders. The two fought a month-long war in 2006.

Syrian military defectors familiar with the airport say it plays a major role as a conduit for arms from Tehran.

Alongside military planes, there are a number of commercial cargo aircraft that fly from Iran to resupply arms to Hezbollah and other groups. The flights go directly from Iran to Syria, passing through Iraqi airspace.

As well as weapons, hundreds of Shi’ite militia fighters from Iraq and Iran have been flown to Damascus international airport. Intelligence sources put their numbers at 10,000 to 20,000 and say they play a significant role in military campaigns launched by the Syrian army.

Israel has largely kept out the war in Syria, but officials have consistently referred to two red lines that have prompted a military response in the past: any supply of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah, and the establishment of “launch sites” for attacks on Israel from the Golan Heights region.

Speaking in Moscow on Wednesday, where he was attending a security conference, Israeli Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman reiterated that Israel “will not allow Iranian and Hezbollah forces to be amassed on the Golan Heights border”.

During his visit, Lieberman held talks with Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, as part of efforts by Israel to coordinate with Moscow on actions in Syria and avoid the risk of confrontation.

A statement from the Defence Ministry said Lieberman had expressed concern to the Russian ministers over “Iranian activity in Syria and the Iranian use of Syrian soil as a base for arms smuggling to Hezbollah in Lebanon”.

A Western diplomat said the airstrikes sent a clear political message to Iran, effectively saying it could no longer use Iraqi and Syrian airspace to resupply proxies with impunity.

Speaking to Reuters in an interview in Washington on Wednesday, Katz, the intelligence minister, said he was seeking an understanding with the Trump administration that Iran not be allowed to establish a permanent military foothold in Syria.

Israeli officials estimate that Iran commands around 25,000 fighters in Syria, including members of its own Revolutionary Guard, Shi’ite militants from Iraq and recruits from Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Israel has also said that Hezbollah has built up an arsenal of more than 100,000 rockets, many of which would be capable of striking anywhere within Israel’s territory. When President Barack Obama announced the “one-time gesture” of releasing Iranian-born prisoners who “were not charged with terrorism or any violent offenses” last year, his administration presented the move as a modest trade-off for the greater good of the Iran nuclear agreement and Tehran’s pledge to free five Americans.

EDITOR’S NOTE: So much of what the Obama administration called his “legacy” was really nothing more than deceit, trickery and lies forced on the American people that they hoped would stay buried when Crooked HIllary won the presidency. But Hillary lost in a landslide, and now even far Left “news” sites like Politico are starting to expose Obama for the criminal that he is. But it sure would have been nice of the liberal fake news media would have done real reporting while Obama was still in office so he could have been impeached. 

“Iran had a significantly higher number of individuals, of course, at the beginning of this negotiation that they would have liked to have seen released,” one senior Obama administration official told reporters in a background briefing arranged by the White House, adding that “we were able to winnow that down to these seven individuals, six of whom are Iranian-Americans.”

But Obama, the senior official and other administration representatives weren’t telling the whole story on Jan. 17, 2016, in their highly choreographed rollout of the prisoner swap and simultaneous implementation of the six-party nuclear deal, according to a POLITICO investigation.

In his Sunday morning address to the American people, Obama portrayed the seven men he freed as “civilians.” The senior official described them as businessmen convicted of or awaiting trial for mere “sanctions-related offenses, violations of the trade embargo.”

In reality, some of them were accused by Obama’s own Justice Department of posing threats to national security. Three allegedly were part of an illegal procurement network supplying Iran with U.S.-made microelectronics with applications in surface-to-air and cruise missiles like the kind Tehran test-fired recently, prompting a still-escalating exchange of threats with the Trump administration. Another was serving an eight-year sentence for conspiring to supply Iran with satellite technology and hardware. As part of the deal, U.S. officials even dropped their demand for $10 million that a jury said the aerospace engineer illegally received from Tehran.

President Trump and the Iran Nuclear Agreement:

And in a series of unpublicized court filings, the Justice Department dropped charges and international arrest warrants against 14 other men, all of them fugitives. The administration didn’t disclose their names or what they were accused of doing, noting only in an unattributed, 152-word statement about the swap that the U.S. “also removed any Interpol red notices and dismissed any charges against 14 Iranians for whom it was assessed that extradition requests were unlikely to be successful.”

Three of the fugitives allegedly sought to lease Boeing aircraft for an Iranian airline that authorities say had supported Hezbollah, the U.S.-designated terrorist organization. A fourth, Behrouz Dolatzadeh, was charged with conspiring to buy thousands of U.S.-made assault rifles and illegally import them into Iran.

A fifth, Amin Ravan, was charged with smuggling U.S. military antennas to Hong Kong and Singapore for use in Iran. U.S. authorities also believe he was part of a procurement network providing Iran with high-tech components for an especially deadly type of IED used by Shiite militias to kill hundreds of American troops in Iraq.

Liar, liar, pants on fire:

The biggest fish, though, was Seyed Abolfazl Shahab Jamili, who had been charged with being part of a conspiracy that from 2005 to 2012 procured thousands of parts with nuclear applications for Iran via China. That included hundreds of U.S.-made sensors for the uranium enrichment centrifuges in Iran whose progress had prompted the nuclear deal talks in the first place.

When federal prosecutors and agents learned the true extent of the releases, many were shocked and angry. Some had spent years, if not decades, working to penetrate the global proliferation networks that allowed Iranian arms traders both to obtain crucial materials for Tehran’s illicit nuclear and ballistic missile programs and, in some cases, to provide dangerous materials to other countries.

“They
didn’t just dismiss a bunch of innocent business guys,” said one former
federal law enforcement supervisor centrally involved in the hunt for
Iranian arms traffickers and nuclear smugglers. “And then they didn’t
give a full story of it.”

In its determination to win support for the nuclear deal and prisoner swap from Tehran — and from Congress and the American people — the Obama administration did a lot more than just downplay the threats posed by the men it let off the hook, according to POLITICO’s findings.

Through action in some cases and inaction in others, the White House derailed its own much-touted National Counterproliferation Initiative at a time when it was making unprecedented headway in thwarting Iran’s proliferation networks. In addition, the POLITICO investigation found that Justice and State Department officials denied or delayed requests from prosecutors and agents to lure some key Iranian fugitives to friendly countries so they could be arrested. Similarly, Justice and State, at times in consultation with the White House, slowed down efforts to extradite some suspects already in custody overseas, according to current and former officials and others involved in the counterproliferation effort.

And as far back as the fall of 2014, Obama administration officials began slow-walking some significant investigations and prosecutions of Iranian procurement networks operating in the U.S. These previously undisclosed findings are based on interviews with key participants at all levels of government and an extensive review of court records and other documents.

“Clearly, there was an embargo on any Iranian cases,” according to the former federal supervisor.

I
have to start by addressing a well-orchestrated effort by the
intolerant left in this country that is designed to silence every
conservative voice and by any means necessary. Now, I’m speaking out
tonight so that you, our audience, will understand what is really
happening and what is at stake when it comes to freedom of speech in
this country. Now, these tactics are right out of Saul Alinsky’s “Rule for Radicals” playbook.

Now,
I’ve worked for radio for 30 years. I’ve been right here at the Fox
News Channel for 21-and-a-half years. I’m very proud of that and during
this time, there’ve always been efforts and attempts to smear and
slander and besmirch me and other conservatives. But it has never been
as intense and completely insane as it is right now.

Now, I want
you to understand, every single minute, every single second I am on the
air — radio, TV — there is somebody likely being paid, recording and
monitoring every single word that comes out of my mouth all in the hopes
that I may see something they can twist and distort and use against me
and try to destroy my reputation and get my conservative voice out the
air.

Now, it has only gotten worse in the age of President Trump.
Now, it’s no secret I have been in supporter of the president and of
course his policies. And quite simply, these liberal fascists — they
can’t stand conservative voices.

Now for those of you who don’t
know me well, I have a pretty thick skin. I call out people, I say
things I give my point of view four hours a day. And for all these
years, there has been this an unrelenting attack against me. But in
light of recent events, I’ve come to the conclusion I can no longer
remain silent and I can no longer let the left slander against me slide.

So,
from now on, I want you to be informed of what I am doing and why I’m
doing it. If there’s any person or group or any organization, any media
outlet that slanders, lies about me, besmirch as me and my character, I
am going to be calling them out. At this point, enough is not.

I
have hired a team of some of the best attorneys in this country to work
with me and on my behalf. Now, the breaking point came this weekend when
an individual for over a decade has made the most outrageous, unfair,
untrue allegations against me has now resurfaced by resurfaced by making
ridiculous and completely untrue claims.

Now, this person went on
a radio show on Friday and made more unfounded accusations against me,
which this person is now interestingly recanting after I made my
statement, but it was only after I responded to these baseless and false
smears. This is not the first time I have had to deal with this
individual.

Now, this person has repeatedly spread lies about me.
I’ll give you an example. Back in 2010, I was raising money for the
Freedom Alliance, a charity that offers college scholarships to the
children of killed veterans and their families. And in a blog post, the
individual falsely accused me and members of the charity of skimming and
stealing money that was donated.

This of course was easily proven
false. And, in spite of the fact that we proved each and every single
allegation to be untrue and inaccurate at the time, I was never given an
apology. There is no correction that was issued.

Now this person
has made another slander accusation and in response, I released this
statement which now the press has picked up and I will read it for you:

Let
me be clear. The comments about me on a radio show this week by this
individual are 100 percent false and a complete fabrication. This
individual is a serial harasser who has been lying about me for well
over a decade. The individual has a history of making provably false
statements to get against me in an effort to slander, smear and besmirch
my reputation.

The individual is not just slandered me over the
years but also many people who this individual disagrees with. This
individual desperately seeks attention by any means necessary including
making unfounded personal attacks and using indefensible and outrageous
political rhetoric.

My patience with this individual is over. I
have retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the
country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of
action we will be taking against this individual.

Now, in this
fiercely divided and vindictive climate, I will no longer allow slander
to go unchallenged, as I see this to be a coordinated effort afoot to
silence those with conservative views.

I will fight every single lie about me about any and all legal means available to me as an American.

Now,
I want you to know, my audience, the importance of what is happening
here. This is not about Sean Hannity. This is not about one person.
There is now a coordinated attempt to silence the voice of every
outspoken conservative in this country.

If we don’t stop it right
now, they won’t be any conservative voices on radio or television left.
Now, I’m not the only one that these liberal fascist routinely targeted.
Like me, conservatives are monitored on radio and TV, every word they
say — in contrary to the alt radical left stated position — they’re so
open-minded, liberals.

Not true. Liberal fascism is a lie and well
in America today. Their goal is simple: They want to shut up and shut
down and silence all conservative voices by any means necessary.

Here
is the difference: Unlike the left, I don’t have any problem with what
the other side says. If you want to listen to liberals on radio or TV,
read their articles, follow them on social media, go for it.

Now,
I’ll call them out for the bias. I will explain why they were wrong. I
will debate them. But I will never, ever say they should be silenced.
And I won’t support boycotts to attack their advertisers, a roundabout
way of silencing them.

So let me be clear tonight, everyone who is
publicly supporting President Trump is a target. This is very
political. We have seen repeatedly that the left knows no limits in
these efforts.

They have gone after and attacked the first lady.
They have attacked members of the president’s family, every White House
advisor. They’ve even attacked his daughter and his 10-year-old son.

Now,
ultimately their goal is to cause as much collateral damage as they can
to anybody that supports the president. They have tried to undermine
the outcome of this election since November 9.

Please note, this
is not about me. This is about the left concocting boycotts all in an
attempt to silence prominent conservative voices. If we don’t take a
stand now, if we allow this to happen now, I am telling you, America as
we know it — freedom of speech as we know it is over. Let’s stop the
boycotts and it silencing opposition voices.

Pope Francis hopes to mend ties with Muslims on his trip to Egypt on Friday but faces criticism from church conservatives for meeting Islamic religious leaders after a spate of deadly attacks against Christians.

EDITOR’S NOTE: In an official video released by the Catholic EWTN channel, the Pope’s visit to Egypt is being billed as a “message of reconciliation from an ambassador of peace”. EWTN goes on to say that Pope Francis “goes to Egypt to pave the way to tolerance and inter-faith relations” in this Muslim majority nation. In a word, it’s Chrislam. In another word, it’s the One World Religion of Antichrist. 

In a video message to the people of Egypt on Tuesday, Francis said the world had been “torn by blind violence, which has also afflicted the heart of the your dear land” and said he hoped his trip could help peace and inter-religious dialogue.

Security is a primary concern less than three weeks after 45 people were killed in attacks on Coptic Christian churches in Alexandria and Tanta, claimed by Islamic State, on Palm Sunday. But Francis has insisted on using an ordinary car during his 27 hours in Cairo, continuing his practice of shunning armored limousines in order to be closer to people.

Francis will meet President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi; Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, the world’s most influential center of Sunni Islamic theology and learning; and Pope Tawadros II, head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, who barely escaped the Alexandria bombing. Sisi declared a three-month state of emergency after the attacks.

A main reason for the trip is to try to strengthen relations with the 1,000-year-old Azhar center that were cut by the Muslim side in 2011 over what it said were repeated insults of Islam by Francis’s predecessor, Pope Benedict.

Ties with the center were restored last year after Tayeb visited the Vatican. Tayeb, widely seen as one of the most moderate senior clerics in Egypt, has repeatedly condemned Islamic State and its practice of declaring others as apostates and infidels as a pretext for waging violent jihad.

The Vatican says that Francis, who denounces the idea of violence in God’s name, is convinced that Christian-Muslim dialogue is more important now than ever.

Papal aides say a moderate like Tayeb would be an important ally in condemning radical Islam.

In Tuesday’s message, Francis said he hoped the trip could bring “fraternity and reconciliation to all children of Abraham, particularly in the Islamic world, in which Egypt occupies a primary position” and “offer a valid contribution to inter-religious dialogue with the Islamic world”.

The pope’s views are not shared by all Catholics, however. Some conservatives say there should be no dialogue with Islam and that a “war of religion” is in progress.

Italian historian Roberto de Mattei said the Palm Sunday attacks should be “a brusque reality check for Pope Francis”.

The perpetrators were “not unbalanced or crazy but bearers of a religious vision that has been combating Christianity since the seventh century,” De Mattei, editor of the conservative monthly magazine Christian Roots, wrote in an editorial.

Novus Ordo Watch, an ultra-conservative Catholic blog, blasted the Vatican over the logo of the trip, which displays the Muslim crescent and the cross together, and derided the pope as “Mr. Coexist”.

A leading Catholic scholar of Islam, Egyptian-born Father Samir Khalil Samir, said that Francis meant well but was naive.

“I think his ignorance of Islam does not help dialogue. He has said often that we know that Islam is a religion of peace but this is simply a mistake,” Samir, who is based in Beirut, told reporters in Rome.

“We know there are certainly times of peace and a willingness for peace on the part of many Muslims but I can’t read the Koran and pretend that it is a book that is oriented towards peace,” he said.

The region has witnessed a massive exodus of Christians fleeing war and persecution in the past few decades, accelerated recently by the rise of Islamic State. Francis said in his message he hoped his visit could be a “consolation and … encouragement to all Christians in the Middle East”.

He will visit Cairo’s largest Coptic cathedral to pray for the 28 people killed in a Christmas season blast last year and lay flowers in their memory.

Rights activists are concerned about the pope’s meeting with President Sisi.

Sisi has sought to present himself as an indispensable bulwark against terrorism in the region, deflecting Western criticism that he has suppressed political opposition and human rights activists since he was elected in 2014.

Asked if the pope would raise human rights concerns, Vatican spokesman Greg Burke said Francis had made “trips more delicate than this one,” adding “let’s see what the pope has to say.” source

Just remember that the 1,200 time period of the rule and reign of the Catholic Church used to be taught in schools as the Dark Ages. Think about that.

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” 2 Peter 1:19-21 (KJV)

Here at NTEB, we receive emails from all over the globe on a daily basis, and we love to hear from our loyal readers. Oftentimes, however, people who hate the Bible doctrine of the Pretribulation Rapture send us various links and articles in an attempt to prove the pretrib will not take place. One of the things that those people will point to is a spurious writing that dates back to the time in the late 300’s just after the founding of Rome’s Catholic “church” in 325. This writing, known as the Constitution Of The Holy Apostles, is what they use to show a post tribulation rapture of the Church.

A pro-Catholic defense site has this to say about it: “It purports to be the work of the Apostles, whose instructions, whether given by them as individuals or as a body, are supposed to be gathered and handed down by the pretended compiler, St. Clement of Rome, the authority of whose name gave fictitious weight to more than one such piece of early Christian literature. The Church seems never to have regarded this work as of undoubted Apostolic authority. The Trullan Council in 692 rejected the work on account of the interpolations of heretics. Only that portion of it to which has been given the name “Apostolic Canons” was received; but even the fifty of these canons which had then been accepted by the Western Church were not regarded as of certain Apostolic origin.” source



Yet even though it was mostly rejected as authentic by the early Catholic Church, in our day it is promoted by the Vatican as well as Laodicean “christians” bent on trying to destroy your faith in what the apostle Paul called our “Blessed Hope”, the doctrine that Jesus will return to remove His Church in the days before the start of the time of Jacob’s trouble.

The Catholic Church has always taught a Post Tribulation theology:

So the next time you meet someone who tries to talk you out of your faith in the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, and goes to Catholic writings to prove their point, just remind them that the Vatican is the Whore of Babylon mentioned in Revelation 17 and 18, and will be destroyed during the Tribulation.

You cannot debate Bible doctrine with non or unbiblical material. The Constitution Of The Holy Apostles is an interesting read, but it is not Scripture and is not able to speak to or interpret Scripture. The Bible says that the “private interpretations” so loved by the Catholic Church are unbiblical, and that only the Bible can interpret the Bible.

A group of executives who want to fight global warming has published a new report calling for countries to spend up to $600 billion a year over the next two decades to boost green energy deployment and energy efficiency equipment.

The Energy Transitions Commission’s (ETC) report claims “additional investments of around $300-$600 billion per annum do not pose a major macroeconomic challenge,” which they say will help the world meet the goals laid out in the Paris agreement.

ETC is made up of energy executives, activist leaders and investment bankers, including former Vice President Al Gore, who would no doubt get a piece of the trillions of dollars they are calling for.

ETC’s goal is to “accelerate change towards low-carbon energy systems that enable robust economic development” and limit global warming. ETC’s report comes out as the Trump administration considers whether or not to stay party to the Paris agreement, which went into effect in 2016.

Trump has ordered Obama-era policies meant to comply with the Paris agreement be rolled back, but the White House is mulling whether or not to pull out of the agreement altogether. European countries and energy companies have been pressuring the White House to stay party to Paris.

Royal Dutch Shell, for example, aided the pro-Paris faction of the Trump administration by publicly supporting continued U.S. participation in the United Nations deal. Shell is a major producer of natural gas, which the company bills as a way to fight global warming.

Shell funds ETC, and the group’s report mainly targets emissions from coal use. ETC calls for “a rapid decrease in unabated coal consumption, a peak of oil in the 2020s and a continued role for gas provided methane leakages are reduced significantly.”

Climate Change HOAX exposed:

ETC says global carbon dioxide emissions need to be cut from 36 gigatons to 20 gigatons by 2040, and the world needs “net zero” emissions after 2050 to keep global temperatures from hitting 2 degrees Celsius by 2100.

To meet that goal ETC claims the world needs “investment in renewables and other low-carbon technologies some $6 trillion higher ($300 billion per year); while the largest required increases – of almost $9 trillion ($450 billion per year) – will be in more efficient energy saving equipment and buildings.”

That’s a $15 trillion price tag to theoretically limit future global warming.

ETC says fossil fuel investment would need to be cut $3.7 trillion over this time, and that’s on top of fundamentally altering their economic systems to make green energy cost-competitive with fossil fuels in some parts of the world by 2035.

The group says an “explicit, predictably rising, forward price curve for carbon, resulting from policy, reaching approximately $50 per tonne in the 2020s and rising to around $100 per tonne in the 2030s – is essential to drive decarbonization beyond power, to reinforce regulatory-driven improvements in energy productivity and to prevent falling fossil fuels prices from undermining the pace of the energy transition.” source

President Donald Trump has called for a rare White House meeting with the entire Senate to discuss the political crisis on the Korean Peninsula. With tensions between the U.S. and North Korea mounting, the gathering may have massive consequences for the region.

The meeting, which is scheduled for Wednesday, would gather all 100 senators for a briefing hosted by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Monday, according to USA Today. The announcement came as the Navy’s Seventh Fleet said two destroyers of its Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group conducted simultaneous, bilateral exercises with U.S. regional allies South Korea and Japan in a display of military might on North Korea’s doorstep.

North Korea hosted its own exhibition of military force Tuesday, according to South Korea’s official Yonhap News Agency. On the anniversary of the founding of the Korean People’s Army, North Korea’s armed forces conducted large-scale artillery drills near the eastern port city of Wonsan. Pyongyang’s military exercises came amid speculation that the reclusive, authoritarian state may have used the occasion to conduct a sixth nuclear test, an event that was previously anticipated during a ceremony earlier this month marking the 105th birthday of the nation’s founder and current leader Kim Jong Un’s grandfather, Kim Il Sung. North Korea’s development of nuclear weapons and its pursuit of long-range missile technology has drawn deep criticism from much of the international community, and Trump responded by dispatching a group of warships, including the Nimitz-class supercarrier Carl Vinson, raising fears that the U.S. may take military action.

Entire U.S. Senate summons to White House for North Korea Briefing:

These parallel military escalations are likely to be a topic of discussion at Wednesday’s meeting at the White House, an unusual venue to gather the entire Senate and some of Trump’s most senior officials. Many lawmakers have pressed the White House for a clear direction in foreign policy and some, such as Ben Cardin, the most senior Democratic politician on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, hope this will be an opportunity to hear a diplomatic solution to the recent political crisis in Asia.

“It’s (the location) their choice,” Cardin told Reuters. “I hope that we hear their policy as to what their objectives are, and how we can accomplish that hopefully without dropping bombs.”

North Korea carries out artillery tests as tension with U.S. heightens:

In recent weeks, both Tillerson and Vice President Mike Pence have made clear to the U.S.’s allies in the Western Pacific that Washington was considering “all options,” including military action, against North Korea to prevent it from conducting additional nuclear tests. These threats were underscored by Trump’s decision to bombard a Syrian airbase with Tomahawk cruise missiles less than 72 hours after blaming Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for an alleged chemical weapons attack on civilians in the northwestern rebel-held province of Idlib. Russia, which backs Assad politically and militarily in his six-year conflict with various insurgents and the Islamic State militant group (ISIS), denied the Syrian military’s responsibility for the suspected sarin gas attack and accused Trump of acting hastily and irresponsibly by pursuing military action before a thorough, independent investigation was conducted.

What a war with North Korea would look like:

One day after the April 7 U.S. Navy strike on Syria, Trump declared he was dispatching a naval “armada” toward the Korean Peninsula amid reports that North Korea was poising for a new nuclear weapons test. Neither the nuclear test nor the U.S. warships arrived, however, and Pyongyang ultimately conducted a ballistic missile test, which failed shortly after launch. The attempted launch drew U.N. Security Council condemnation, although the international body’s statement was delayed by a squabble between the U.S. and Russia, still bitter over the earlier disagreement in Syria. Following the Security Council’s move, U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley said the U.S. may “start looking at sanctions or other actions,” according to The Guardian.

Trump’s strikes on Syria were unannounced, meaning the Republican leader may already be pursuing a unique position on North Korea. Pyongyang’s traditional ally, China, has also expressed deep frustration with its neighbor’s rogue nuclear weapons program and has pleaded for calm in the region. Both Russia and China have denied sending additional troops and armaments to their respective borders with North Korea, but have closely followed the Trump administration’s moves in response to growing uncertainty on the Korean Peninsula. Discussions held and decisions made in Wednesday’s meeting would likely affect both nations, which have their own interests in the region. source

Judah being one of Jacob’s children, participates in a conspiracy to get rid of his half-brother Joseph by selling him to Egypt. Given the 20 year life expectancy of Egyptian slaves, being sold to Egypt was not salvation from death, it was death postponed by much suffering. When Judah matures and himself becomes a father of three sons, two of whom die after marrying Tamar, he learns what it means to love someone too much. Despite the law of levirate marriage that obligates Judah to have his third son marry Tamar, year after year he refuses. His love for his son trumps his sense of justice towards Tamar.

This happens until Tamar orchestrates one of the greatest redemptive breakthroughs in the history of the world by getting Judah himself to restore his dead son’s seed. Tamar disgraces herself, pretending to be a local prostitute. Her truly unconventional, but incredibly courageous plan works. When she becomes pregnant and the truth about his relationship to the child is proven, Judah repents and declares Tamar not guilty of any wrong doing, owning his guilt instead (Gen.38:1-27).

The book of Ruth celebrates Perez – the child of Tamar and Judah, as a crucial part of God’s redemptive plan and establishes him as ancestor of King David (Ruth 4:11-17). What is even more important is that the Gospels include Perez among the forefathers of Jesus, the Messiah and the Book of Revelation refers to Jesus as the Lion from the tribe of Judah!
