Who Are The 144,000 Servants Of God In The Book Of Revelation And Where Do They Come From?

The Bible is very clear. The 144,000 are ethnic Jews taken 12,000 at a time from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The tribes they are taken from are Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nepthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, and Zebulon. And oh yeah, almost forgot. They are all male and they are all virgins.

Here is where the “rubber meets the road”. They are all male, and they are all virgins. Are YOU in a “christian” group that teaches that YOU are part of the 144,000? Well, you better be a Jewish male that has never had sex

“And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” Revelation 7:2-4 (KJV)


For some reason, there seems to be a lot of debate and confusion about the nature and identity of the 144,000 mentioned in the book of Revelation. That is puzzling to me because God is beyond crystal-clear about who these people are and where they come from. Cultic groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses have long claimed that they are the 144,000, but as you will soon see, that is a categorical impossibility.


WHO THEY ARE: The Bible is very clear. The 144,000 are ethnic Jews taken 12,000 at a time from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The tribes they are taken from are Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nepthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, and Zebulon. “Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.” Revelation 7:4-8 (KJV)

TRIBULATION AS A CONDITION IS NOT THE SAME AS THE EVENT OF THE TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE

WHAT THEY ARE: Here is where the “rubber meets the road”. They are all male, and they are all virgins. Are YOU in a “christian” group that teaches that YOU are part of the 144,000? Well, you better be a Jewish male that has never had sex. Lol, guess that’s not you, Mr. JW.  “And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.” Revelation 14:3,4 (KJV)


WHERE THEY COME FROM: On this point, the Bible is less clear, but we can still know something about it. The Bible says that that are male, virgin Jews belonging to the 12 tribes of Israel, that we know for sure. But if you were to go to Israel today, could you find 144,000 male, virgin Jews who also follow Jesus? Easy answer – no. you could not. At this moment in time they are either being kept hidden in reserve or yet to be raised up. But remember, the time of Jacob’s trouble is a time where the natural and the supernatural once again meet, and on a regular basis. During this time, people living then will witness crazy amounts of supernatural phenomena. This is most likely from whence they will appear, by a supernatural raising up by God. For those of you who are born again now and will be leaving with the rest of us in the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church, we will be “watching from the balcony” when the 144,000 are commissioned and sealed. “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” Luke 21:25 (KJV)


As you can clearly see, all faux-Christian groups like Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, and any other who claim to be a part of this group we dismiss out of hand because their claims in no way line up with Bible prophecy. Another great trick these groups like to use is to spiritualize being Jewish and then claim that they are “spiritual Jews”. But this nonsense won’t wash anymore than Bruce Jenner could become a woman by claiming he was one.


There is no such thing as a “spiritual Jew”. The Bible only recognizes three groups of people, and they are the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Church of Jesus Christ.

The Islamic State magazine that has published tutorials on vehicle, knife and arson attacks as a tool of lone jihad is now encouraging terrorists to acquire guns at shows and shops and take hostages not for ransom but “to create as much carnage and terror as one possibly can.”

The latest issue of Rumiyah magazine, distributed online in 10 languages including English, offers another installment of the “Just Terror Tactics” series, praising lone jihadists including U.S. terrorists who have “set heroic examples with their operations.”

The objective of taking hostages, would-be jihadists are told, is “not to hold large numbers of the kuffar hostage in order to negotiate one’s demands,” but to sow terror with “the language of force, the language of killing, stabbing and slitting throats, chopping off heads, flattening them under trucks, and burning them alive, until they give the jizyah [tax] while they are in a state of humiliation.”

“The scenario for such an attack is that one assaults a busy, public, and enclosed location and rounds up the kuffar [disbelievers] who are present. Having gained control over the victims, one should then proceed to slaughter as many of them as he possibly can before the initial police response, as was outstandingly demonstrated by the mujaheddin who carried out the Bataclan theatre massacre during the course of the blessed Paris raid,” the article instructs.

ISIS encourages followers to use online ads to lure victims:

Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen “superbly demonstrated this scenario” of taking hostages simply to delay police while killing them “when, having armed himself with an assault rifle and a handgun, he single-handedly slaughtered 49 sodomites.”

Jihadists are told that Europeans should try to acquire guns in conflict zones or from underground dealers, and “much like its Crusader European counterparts, the UK faces a gun control dilemma as it feebly attempts to fend off the influx of weapons, but to no avail” so attackers are advised to find guns “readily available for purchase on the streets of Britain.”

In the United States, “anything from a single-shot shotgun all the way up to a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle can be purchased at showrooms or through online sales – by way of private dealers – with no background checks, and without requiring either an ID or a gun license,” ISIS states. “And with approximately 5,000 gun shows taking place annually within the United States, the acquisition of firearms becomes a very easy matter.”

They include a picture of an unidentified gun show with the caption, “Gun conventions represent an easier means of arming oneself for an attack.”

Jihadists are advised to refrain from casually asking people where they can get guns, lest they end up “bringing upon oneself unnecessary suspicion.”

Another suggestion for gun acquisition in the ISIS article is staging a ram-and-grab burglary driving a car into a gun shop when it’s closed.

“Alternatively, after some simple reconnaissance, one could follow the shop owner after he’s closed for the day, ambush him or run him over with a vehicle, and then take his keys in order to gain access to the store’s arsenal and any other location where he might be storing firearms and ammunition,” the advice continues. “Such targets, though potentially offering a considerable gain in terms of ghanimah [booty], are ambitious in nature and should be pursued while keeping in mind that tactical and gun shop owners are normally the type who arm and train themselves and would not be as averse to engaging in a firefight when attacked.”

Still, the terror group added, a “faint-hearted kafir shop owner in the West” can “be taken by surprise if one takes the means available to him and plans his attack carefully.”

Locations suggested for public hostage-taking operations include malls, movie theaters, nightclubs, ice-skating rinks, restaurants and college campuses — any peak-traffic, preferably low-light environment that “allows for one to take control of the situation by rounding up the kuffar present inside and allows one to massacre them while using the building as a natural defense against any responding force attempting to enter and bring the operation to a quick halt.” Operations with fewer jihadists taking part are encouraged to pick a target with fewer exits.

ISIS advises jihadists to consider attacks on “days on which police and other security forces might be pre-occupied with national or local events,” and begin killing hostages “as quickly as one can before the initial police response” while leaving a few alive as human shields.

“Using deception as a tactic of warfare in order to lure one’s target or trick them into believing that they are safe before killing them or inconspicuously assassinating them is divinely approved,” the article asserts.

Those who can’t acquire firearms are told to not let that stop them, and try hostage-taking and killing armed with a knife.

ISIS suggests luring targets by placing an ad at an unemployment center for a job Muslims would not take, then “subdue” each victim as they arrive at the interview site, even if that means renting a fake office, before murdering en masse.

Another suggested lure is advertising a studio apartment for rent, small enough not “attract large families,” and capture and kill the interested tenants. “It might even help to include in the ad that the apartment is ‘ideal for students,'” ISIS adds.

Jihadists are also encouraged to place some stuff for sale on “buy and sell websites such as Craigslist,
Gumtree, eBay, the Loot, and others” and “specify that collection and
payment is only available in person and that only cash is accepted.
Also, the item being advertised should be something that requires the
victim to enter one’s property.”

“It
is likewise important to be realistic when advertising and not
advertise something far below its valued price, as this can attract the
attention of authorities searching for stolen goods or possibly attract
other suspicions,” the article states.

ISIS tells terrorists using these lure scenarios to space out arrivals and have “a room specifically reserved for the disposal of the bodies… for the obvious reason of not alerting those intended victims entering the property after them.”

“One should not initiate his attack until the target has fully entered the property and is comfortable, so as to avoid any struggle and prevent the chance of him fleeing.” The terror group also says a loud TV and staging the attack in busier daylight hours can help conceal screams.

“However, in order for the operation to gain wide publicity and more effectively plant terror into the hearts of the disbelievers, one can keep some of his victims alive and restrained, making for a more lengthy and drawn-out hostage scenario. One may then notify the authorities, explaining to them that he is a soldier of the Islamic State and informing them of what he has just done,” the article concludes. “…The intention of this delay is therefore only to prolong the terror, as the ideal scenario is that they storm the location and he is killed as a shahid – inshaallah – after having inflicted upon the kuffar a just massacre.” source

The Handwriting On The Wall: Will You Believe It?

The deterioration of national moral character means inevitable tragedy.

That was the message to Belshazzar, the Babylonian King, who was celebrating in revelry, extravagance and luxurious passion when he made a momentous and daring decision.

In Daniel chapter 5 of the Bible, it is recorded that at the height of a tremendous festival he ordered the vessels of gold and silver that were taken from the Temple in Jerusalem to be brought. 

Belshazzar would use them as wine goblets, while in his orgy he praised his own gods. It was an open defiance of the living God of Israel whose moral requirements were known throughout the world.

Suddenly, a ghostly hand appeared in front of everyone to write on the wall of the palace banquet hall. It was a message of judgment for a people who were godless in their behaviors. 

As they drank from cups dedicated to God's service, the irony was that sin's work of dissipation had filled the cup of their lives and was overflowing. 

The hand writing upon the wall was God's own, saying, "Mene, mene, tekel, upharsin" meaning "numbered, numbered, weighed in the balances and found wanting; your kingdom is gone."

Before that very night would end, King Cyrus of Persia would attack Babylon; Belshazzar would be slain, and Darius given the kingdom.

The truths of this story are self-evident for our own time.

To trifle with God, who is sovereign over the nations, is to invite disaster.

Babylon had enslaved "God's Chosen People." No doubt, they couldn't have been more marginalized. Their influence was essentially negated. They were not at liberty to worship God freely. Belshazzar thought of God and His people as powerless.

Whether we speak of the nation of Israel or spiritual Israel, the Church, let it be proclaimed far and wide that God's people can never be discounted in his scheme of national and worldly affairs. They are always at the heart of what He's doing.

To bless God's people is to be blessed. To curse God's people is to be cursed. (Gen. 12:3)

The Temple vessels Belshazzar desecrated were not simply things; they were images and pictures of a real counterpart. The vessels speak of the people of God those whom God intends to fill with Himself those whom God ordained to pour out His blessings upon the earth.

A sure sign of coming judgment to a country is when that which is dedicated to God and reserved for holy use is filled with venality and vice. It is most telling for any nation when the presence of true religion is co-opted in the name of idolatrous practices.

Belshazzar, the Bible says, called for someone to read the handwriting on the wall, but only Daniel, the prophet of God, could read it. Preceding the judgment of a nation, those who truly know the Lord those who understand His commands may not be prevalent or popular, but they will still be in demand. Only they can really discern the times.

We've all heard the old adage, "Those who don't learn from history are destined to repeat it." Indeed. But obviously, Belshazzar had not learned this lesson. 

His father, Nebuchadnezzar, had been a proud man and ignored God. For this he suffered from insanity for seven years before finally confessing, "Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just, for He is able to humble those who walk in pride" (Dan. 4:37). 

Belshazzar knew all of this but refused to learn from it (Dan. 5:17-22).

History tells us that twenty-two great civilizations have risen and fallen, and the reasons for their demise are amazingly similar.

They abandoned their religious convictions, fully rejecting basic tenants of morality.

They were obsessed with sex and its perversions.

They reduced the quality and intrinsic value of their money, while also increasing the general price level of goods and services.

They no longer viewed honest work as a necessary virtue.

They allowed respect for the law to seriously diminish, and violence became an accepted means for achieving both individual and group ends.

Will we learn from history? These five reasons for the destruction of previous mighty civilizations are currently rampant in America.

Are we seeing the handwriting on the wall? Most definitely! It seems that judgment is imminent!

"Judgment? By whom or what standard?" someone protests defiantly. "What right does anyone have to judge me?" 

If he had been afforded the time, Belshazzar might have said the same. Nevertheless, the hand that wrote on that wall was God's, telling Belshazzar and the people of Babylon that they had been weighed in His balances and found wanting.

Today people often argue that they have their own balances and scales for judging life's issues, but one day everyone is going to face God as He really is and be judged by the standards of His Word. 

We won't be able to bring our own scales on Judgment Day; we'll be weighed on His alone.

Christ died on the Cross to redeem people of every kindred, tongue, and nation. Dr. George Sweeting, former chancellor of Moody Bible Institute has written, "No nation can rise above the faith and character of its individual citizens. 

America has a choice to make. Either we turn back by faith in Jesus Christ, or we will join the fate of other long-forgotten nations."

Why are we so foolish to believe that we can escape the judgment of God? Why do we continue ignoring the handwriting on the wall? Why aren't clergy claiming this from the rooftops?

We will either go to our knees in repentance and faith or be driven to our knees in defeat.

Will you trust Christ as your Savior today? Christian, have you fallen into sin and in need of making things right with your Lord?

Let us heed the call of Jeremiah 18:8 before it is too late: "If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them."

Even though men in the Middle East clearly believe in a patriarchal system with limited equality for women, the system isn’t working so well for them, according to the results of a survey of 10,000 people across Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco and the Palestinian territories.


“There is the perception about the Arab region that the patriarchy clearly dominates and that it is fantastic for men,” said Shereen El Feki, who led the study, speaking to the BBC.


Depending on the location, between 20-50 percent of men indicated that they were ashamed to face their families due to lack of money.


El Feki said that the survey report suggested that “the patriarchy works for the very small minority who are on the top of that pyramid.  For the rest down below, lots of women, but also from the results of the survey, many, many men, life is very tough.”


Unsurprisingly, the majority of men – up to 90 percent in some locations – expected to have the right to control their wives’ freedoms, from what she wears to how often they have sex.


A quarter of the men surveyed indicated that they did accept equality for women in some areas but believe that a woman’s primary role is in the home.


Less than half of the men surveyed said that married women had the same right to work as men. They also stipulated this acceptance on two conditions: that the man remains the primary breadwinner and the women remain the ones primarily responsible for taking care of the household.


However, a quarter of the men between the ages of 18 and 59 indicated that they wanted to spend more time caring for their children. They also supported certain laws that safeguard women as well as women in leadership positions.


Opinions supporting gender equality among men do not seem to be correlated to age in the Middle East as in other locations around the world, except in Lebanon where younger men appear to have more liberal attitudes on this subject.


“Younger women [are] much more open than their mothers or grandmothers, but younger men seem to be as conservative, perhaps even more so than their elders,” said El Feki.


“The minority of men who do get their hands dirty in the kitchen… what you find is that those are the men who saw their fathers doing this at home,” El Feki added.


Women, also seemed to hold more conservative opinions. Seventy percent of women surveyed said while they wanted to have the right to work, men should have priority when work is hard to come by.


El Feki conducted the survey called The International Men and Gender Equality Study in the Middle East and North Africa (IMAGES MENA) for UN Women and Promundo, a global organization engaging men and boys in promoting gender equality and preventing violence.

The leader of Al-Qaeda’s branch in Yemen said in a statement aired on the branch’s propaganda outlet that his group has formed alliances with other Sunni jihadists in the country, including the Muslim Brotherhood.


From the Associated Press report:

“‘We fight along all Muslims in Yemen, together with
different Islamic groups,’ he said, adding that his followers have
teamed up with an array of factions — including the ultraconservative
Salafis, ‘the Muslim Brotherhood and also our brothers among the sons of (Sunni) tribes’ — against Yemen’s Shiite rebels known as Houthis.”

Al-Qaeda’s links to the Yemeni branch in the Muslim Brotherhood go far back, particularly through a jihadist cleric named Abdul-Majeed al-Zindani. He is a co-founder of the Brotherhood’s party in the country which is called Islah.


Zindani is also very close to Hamas, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.


Zindani was deeply involved in the top tier of the international jihadist network that included Osama Bin Laden. Before his death, Bin Laden picked Yemen as the best “launching point” for establishing a theocratic Islamic State. He was undoubtedly aware of the Brotherhood cleric’s role in creating that environment and thankful for it.


A 1993 State Department report said he was part of a circle of leaders with a “close working relationship” that included the “Blind Sheikh” who inspired the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; Hasan al-Turabi, a Muslim Brotherhood cleric in Sudan who has been called the ““Pope of Terrorism;” Afghanistan-based jihadist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and Sheikh Gilani, leader of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, now known as Muslims of America.


In 2004, the U.S. Treasury Department named Zindani as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist” because of his involvement with Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda. The department said he was linked to Ansar al-Islam, a Kurdish terrorist group in Iraq loyal to Al-Qaeda, and leads a radical university in Yemen known for producing terrorists.


A U.S. federal court said Zindani coordinated the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000 and a lawsuit accuses him of having personally chosen the two suicide bombers for the attack.


Senior Al-Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki found shelter with the Brotherhood in Yemen. He hid in three homes owned by Islah members before he was killed by an American drone. One home belonged to Amin al-Okaimi, the chairman of Islah. The second safehouse was owned by al-Awlaki’s driver, whose brother is a high-level Islah official. The third house belonged to Zindani.


Trump Administration is examining whether or not to designate the Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. If it doesn’t designate the Brotherhood as a whole, surely it can designate individual branches. After all, the Palestinian wing—Hamas—has been designated since 1997.


At the very least, the State Department should designate the Yemeni Muslim Brotherhood for its close ties to Hamas and Al-Qaeda, as now publicly confirmed by the Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula affiliate in Yemen.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is mounting a desperate campaign in the U.S. to avoid being designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, according to The Seventh Day, one of Egypt’s largest news outlets.


The political winds have changed in Washington and the Brotherhood is running scared. U.S. President Donald Trump has made clear his support of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, announcing he stands with the Egyptian president in his fight against terror and extremist groups that are threatening one of America’skey allies in the Middle East.


After tens of millions of Egyptians took to the streets to protest the abuse and power grabs of former Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi (a member of the Brotherhood’s political party) in the summer of 2013, El-Sisi and the military took control of Egypt. He was elected president in 2014.


El-Sisi’s recently successful meeting with Trump in Washington set a Brotherhood plan in motion to gain support of members of Congress and academia to block a move to designate the organization as terrorists.

Lectures, discussions and events are being held in prominent American universities, including Harvard and Georgetown, about the “constructive contribution” the Brotherhood has made to Egypt since the Arab Spring began.


For example, speaking under the title “The Nobility in Justice,” Mahmoud a-Sharkawi, a Brotherhood official in Washington, lectured about the “positive” role the Brotherhood has played in Egypt since January 25, 2011 (the date marking the beginning of the Arab Spring in Egypt) in a conference at St. John’s University in New York.


The group is also reaching out to members of Congress, trying to re-brand the way it is perceived in Washington after al-Sisi’s successful visit.





Testifying in Congress, Tarek a-Zimer, head of the Building and Development Party, the political party of the Egyptian Brotherhood, urged Americans to change their views about the organization. Other officials of the Brotherhood who attended the hearing used their presence to incite against el-Sisi and the current Egyptian government.


Writing in a blog, A-Zimer asked, “Have the Americans internalized the lesson and fully understood the danger of the current situation to their interests?”


Sources close to the Brotherhood say the purpose of the campaign being waged on American university campuses is to put pressure on Trump in light of the negative opinions about the Brotherhood that are now prevalent in Washington due to the change in administrations.


What they fear most is a decision by the administration to designate the Brotherhood as a terror organization.


Hisham a-Naggar, an Islamic scholar, agreed. He said the purpose of the Brotherhood campaign is to confront the new negative shift in American opinions toward the Brotherhood. These opinions include support for el-Sisi and allying with him against terror – positions that include a crackdown on Brotherhood activities.


Formerly, having the support of the West (and the American president) was the Brotherhood’s “ace in the hole” – the most important card the group could play in its multi-faceted moves to take over Arab countries and their current regimes. Now that support has been taken away, and the group is reeling.


Tarek al-Bashabishi, a former Brotherhhood official who now works against the organization, commented that ever since the Brotherhood lost power in June 2013, it’s been been inciting various Arab countries and international institutions against Egypt to weaken el-Sisi so the Brotherhood can return to power.


Al-Bashabishi added that after Trump was elected, a huge political shift occurred. The U.S. administration is now against the Brotherhood and in support of el-Sisi’s fight against them. Now, he says, the Brotherhood’s only option is to try to bribe Trump’s rivals in Congress so they can be used as mouthpieces for the Brotherhood.


He said the Brotherhood is engaged in a fight for its life, playing all its cards – including using financial support from Turkey and Qatar and the Brotherhood lobby in America – to avoid being designated as a terror organization.


Al-Bashabishi also noted the same phenomenon in the UK, where he said the Brotherhood is trying to bribe members of the House of Commons to support the anti-Egypt opinions of the Brotherhood.

Trump cast the trip as “historic” and a way to promote religious tolerance in remarks at an executive-order signing in the White House Rose Garden on Thursday. The visit to Saudi Arabia, he said, will include a “truly historic gathering in Saudi Arabia with leaders from all across the Muslim world.”

“Saudi Arabia is the custodian of the two holiest sites in Islam, and it is there that we will begin to construct a new foundation of cooperation and support with our Muslim allies, to combat extremism, terrorism and violence,” Trump said, “and to embrace a more just and hopeful future for young Muslims in their countries.”

“Our task is not to dictate to others how to live, but to build a coalition of friends and partners who share the goal of fighting terrorism and bringing safety, opportunity and stability to the war-ravaged Middle East,” he said.

Trump announces trip to Saudi Arabia, Israel, Vatican

Trump’s tour will conclude with stops at a NATO meeting in Brussels on May 25 and at the G-7 summit in Sicily the following day.

The first foreign visit is typically a milestone for a new president. The stakes are high for White House staff, who are seeking to firm up alliances overseas.

Trump’s unbreakable promise:

Speaking at a synagogue in Florida on the Sunday before the 2016 election, Ivanka Trump assured Jewish voters that her father would “100 percent” move the US embassy to Jerusalem if he is elected president. Ivanka, who converted to Judaism in 2010 and is married to a Jewish man, called her father, the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, an “unbelievable champion” for the State of Israel and for the Jewish people during a talk on Thursday at The Shul of Bal Harbour in Surfside, Florida, the Jewish Insider reported. “You won’t be disappointed,” she told the audience during the talk, which was filmed in part.

Trump responded by charging that the remarks were “disgraceful” and said he “liked the pope” before he heard them. “No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith,” Trump said at a campaign rally.

“If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS,
which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you
that the pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would
have been president,” said Trump.

Since Trump’s inauguration this year, Pope Francis has continued to criticize the president and his agenda, if indirectly. In February, he urged an audience at the Vatican “to not raise walls but bridges, to not respond to evil with evil, to overcome evil with good” and again suggested that Trump’s behavior was not in line with the values of Christianity.

“A Christian can never say: ‘I’ll make you pay for that,’” Francis said, according to the Guardian, in remarks interpreted as a reference to Trump’s claims that Mexico will pay for his proposed border wall. “Never! That is not a Christian gesture. An offense is overcome with forgiveness, by living in peace with everyone.”

More recently, at a news conference with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Trump mentioned his interest in meeting with the pope.

After
years of debate, the House on Thursday voted to repeal key parts of the
Affordable Care Act and replace them with new provisions

The vote, which President Donald Trump was planning to tout as a big victory,
sends the Republican-sponsored bill to gut Obamacare to the Senate for
consideration. But winning approval for the bill could be even more
difficult in the Senate than it has been in the House, where Republican
leaders struggled for nearly two months to wrangle enough votes in their
caucus to secure its passage.

The bill passed by a vote of 217 to 213, which was one more “yes” vote that was needed for passage.

All 193 Democrats voting opposed the bill. They were joined by 20 Republicans voting “no.”

“A
lot of us have waited seven years to cast this vote,” House Speaker
Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said shortly before the voting began. “Many of us are
here because we pledged to cast this vote: to repeal and replace
Obamacare.”

“This bill delivers the promises we have made to the American people,” Ryan said.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., told MSNBC shortly before the vote began, “We were elected to do this.”

After
the vote, protesters outside the Capitol building yelled, “Shame,
shame!” at members of Congress walking down the front steps.

The
bill — which would dramatically change the way the federal government
funds purchases of individual health plans and Medicaid — is expected to
dramatically increase the number of people without health insurance if
enacted into law.

Thursday’s vote came a week after the bill was
amended to include a provision that won support from conservative
holdouts. That provision would, under certain conditions, undo
Obamacare’s ban on letting insurers charge people with pre-existing
health conditions more for their insurance plans than healthy people.

Moderate
Republicans initially blanched at that provision. But on Wednesday a
number of them agreed to support the bill after the addition of another
amendment that would increase funding designed to reduce the impact of
the higher premiums on people with pre-existing conditions. Analysis
questions how far that funding may go to cut costs for those Americans.

The
bill, known as the American Health Care Act, would remove the Obamacare
rule requiring most Americans to have health coverage of some kind. source

President Trump and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday vowed to work together to strike a peace deal with Israel that would bring stability to the Middle East

“And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” Zechariah 14:4 (KJV)

EDITOR’S NOTE: President Trump’s meeting with Palestine president Mahmoud Abbas presented a rather tricky balancing act. Tricky because candidate Trump ran on a campaign promise of moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and recognizing Jerusalem as “Israel’s eternal capital”. But Abbas stated today that without East Jerusalem being given to the palestinians as their capital, there will be “no peace deal”. In the end, it all comes down to one thing and one thing only – who controls Jerusalem. Exactly how the Bible said it would be in the end times.

“We will get it done. We will be working so hard to get it done. It’s been a long time. But we will be working diligently,” Trump said during a joint appearance with Abbas at the White House.

“I look much forward to working with you in order to come to that historical agreement, historic deal to bring about peace,” Abbas replied, speaking through a translator.

Trump called on Abbas to renounce terrorism, saying there could be no peace deal with Israel unless Palestinian leaders condemned anti-Israeli violence.

“There could be no lasting peace unless the Palestinian leaders speak in a unified voice against incitement to violence and hate. There’s such hatred, but hopefully, there won’t be such hatred for very long. All children of God must be taught to value and respect human life and condemn all of those who target the innocent,” he said.

President Trump Meets with President Abbas:

The pair were expected to meet through most of the afternoon during the Palestinian leader’s first visit to the White House in about 24 years — since he signed an earlier peace deal with Israel.

“It was on these grounds that President Abbas stood with a courageous peacemaker, then-Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Here at the White House, President Abbas signed a declaration of principles, very important, which laid the foundation for peace between the Israelis and Palestinians,” Trump said.

But Abbas in his remarks set parameters for a deal that Israel would likely oppose.

“Our strategic choice is to bring about peace based on the vision of the two-state [solution], a Palestinian state with its capital of East Jerusalem that lives in peace and stability with the state of Israel based on the border of 1967,” he said, referring to the borders before the Arab-Israeli war that year.

Israel has staunchly opposed giving up all of the land it annexed on the West Bank, Golan Heights and East Jerusalem.

Both Trump and Abbas said a peace deal would go a long way to ending the instability that led to the rise of radical Islamic terrorists such as ISIS, which Abbas said “has nothing to do with our noble religion.”

Donald Trump Promises To Move Embassy From Tel Aviv To Jerusalem:

The Palestinian leader also praised Trump’s reputation as a dealmaker, saying that would be a benefit in their talks with the Israelis.

“I believe that we are capable under your leadership and your stewardship and your wisdom as well your great negotiating ability, I believe with the grace of God and with all of your effort, we believe that we can be partners, true partners to you to bring about a historic peace treaty,” he said.

Trump was expected to pressure Abbas to end payments to families of Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli jails, one of several actions Washington believes could lead to resumed peace talks with Israel.

Others include a Palestinian end to anti-Israel rhetoric and incitement of violence, administration officials said.

Israel considers payments to families a reward for terrorists, but stopping them could be a non-starter for Abbas, especially at a time of broad Palestinian support for a mass hunger strike by prisoners held by Israel. US officials said such a request was raised in preparatory talks with Palestinian officials, and three Republican senators urged a halt to such payments in a letter to Trump that reflected widespread opinion in Congress.

Why Israel can’t withdraw to its pre-196 borders:

While Abbas will be challenged on the payments, Trump will also use their meeting to recommit the US to helping the Palestinians improve their economic conditions, officials said. Trump, they added, will reiterate his belief that Israeli settlement construction on land claimed by the Palestinians does not advance peace prospects.

The peace process has been stalled since 2014, when former Secretary of State John Kerry’s effort to lead the sides into peace talks collapsed. Since then, there have been no serious attempts to get negotiations restarted.

The Obama administration spent its last months in office attempting to preserve conditions for an eventual resumption.

“We hope this will be a new beginning,” Abbas told Palestinians at a meeting in Washington on the eve of the talks.

He
blamed the lack of dialogue in recent years on the Israeli government,
saying its leaders “have no political vision,” and reiterated his
demands for an independent Palestinian state along pre-1967 lines, with
East Jerusalem as its capital. “Without this we will not accept any
solution,” said Abbas, who touted an Arab League peace plan that offers Israel diplomatic relations with the Muslim world for a Palestinian state. “There is no alternative.”

Israel rejects the 1967 lines as a possible border, saying it would impose grave security risks. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hasn’t outlined an alternative demarcation. source

STANDING BY: U.S. Special Operations Forces In Place And Ready To Strike At North Korea Nuclear Sites

North Korean nuclear weapons and missile delivery systems, such as
mobile missiles. They also would seek to prevent the movement of the
weapons out of the country during a conflict.

U.S.
special operations forces are set to conduct operations against North
Korean nuclear, missile, and other weapons of mass destruction sites in
any future conflict, the commander of Special Operations Command told
Congress Tuesday.

Army Gen. Raymond A. Thomas stated in testimony
to a House subcommittee that Army, Navy, and Air Force commandos are
based both permanently and in rotations on the Korean peninsula in case
conflict breaks out.

The special operations training and
preparation is a warfighting priority, Thomas said in prepared
testimony. There are currently around 8,000 special operations troops
deployed in more than 80 countries.

North Korea says they’re ready to face the American military:

“We
are actively pursuing a training path to ensure readiness for the
entire range of contingency operations in which [special operations
forces], to include our exquisite [countering weapons of mass
destruction] capabilities, may play a critical role,” he told the
subcommittee on emerging threats.

“We are looking comprehensively
at our force structure and capabilities on the peninsula and across the
region to maximize our support to U.S. [Pacific Command] and [U.S.
Forces Korea]. This is my warfighting priority for planning and
support.”

Disclosure of the commander’s comments comes as tensions
remain high on the peninsula. President Trump has vowed to deal harshly
with North Korea should another underground nuclear test be carried
out. Test preparations have been identified in recent weeks, U.S.
officials have said.

Trump
said on Sunday that China appears to be pressuring North Korea but that
he would be upset if North Korea carries out another nuclear test.

“If
he does a nuclear test, I will not be happy,” he said on CBS Face the
Nation. Asked if his unhappiness would translate into a U.S. military
response, Trump said: “I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see.”

Gen. Thomas’ testimony did not include details of what missions the commandos would carry out.

A spokesman for the Special Operations Command referred questions about potential operations in Korea to the Pacific Command.

Special
forces troops would be responsible for locating and destroying North
Korean nuclear weapons and missile delivery systems, such as mobile
missiles. They also would seek to prevent the movement of the weapons
out of the country during a conflict.

Special operations missions
are said by military experts to include intelligence gathering on the
location of nuclear and chemical weapons sites for targeting by bombers.
They also are likely to include direct action assaults on facilities to
sabotage the weapons, or to prevent the weapons from being stolen, or
set off at the sites by the North Koreans.

A defense official said
U.S. commandos in the past have trained for covert operations against
several types of nuclear facilities, including reactors and research
centers. Scale models of some North Korean weapons facilities have been
built in the United States for practice operations by commandos.

The
most secret direct action operations would be carried out by special
units, such as the Navy’s Seal Team Six or the Army’s Delta Force.

Thomas
said the command in January took over the role of coordinating Pentagon
efforts to counter weapons of mass destruction from the Strategic
Command. The mission includes stopping the spread of weapons of mass
destruction and dealing with the aftermath of such weapons’ use.

North
Korea is believed to have around 20 nuclear devices and is developing
nuclear warheads small enough to be carried on long-range missiles. It
also has stockpiles of chemical weapons and biological warfare agents.

Many
of North Korea’s nuclear facilities are believed to be located
underground in fortified locations spread around the country.

The
last rotation of special operations forces to South Korea took place in
February when parts of the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the
75th Ranger Regiment joined South Korean troops for training.

The United States has a message for North Korea:

A
great video of the US Military sending it’s most deadly message to the
leadership of the North Korean Military in Military exercise. “This
exercise is yet another example of the strength and resolve of the
combined U.S. and the ROK naval force,” said Rear Adm. James Kilby,
commander, Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group. “The U.S. and the Republic
of Korea share one of the strongest alliances in the world and we grow
stronger as an alliance because of our routine exercises here in South
Korea and the close relationship and ties that we forge from operating
at sea together.”

The training took place
in mountainous parts of South Korea in a bid to simulate the rough
terrain commandos would experience during operations in North Korea.
Other training took place on the seas.

Gen. Thomas, in his
testimony, identified North Korea as one of five “current and enduring”
military threats outlined in a new military strategy produced by Marine
Corps Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The four other threats are terrorism, Russia, Iran, and China.

Asked
about the new strategy, a Joint Chiefs of Staff spokesman said the
latest national military strategy is secret. “A classified [National
Military Strategy] will make it more difficult for adversaries to
develop counter-strategies and also enables the chairman to give the
best military advice to the president and secretary of defense,” Navy
Capt. Greg Hicks said.

The command “has recently focused more
intently on the emerging threat that is of growing concern to us as well
as most of our DoD teammates—the nuclear threat of an increasingly
rogue North Korea,” Thomas said.

“Although previously viewed as a
regional threat, North Korea’s relentless pursuit of nuclear weapons and
intercontinental ballistic missiles, facilitated by a trans-regional
network of commercial, military, and political connections, make it a
threat with global implications,” the four-star general added.

South
Korea’s special operations forces are said to be highly trained but
lack the advanced equipment used by American commandos, such as stealth
helicopters and aircraft as well as other high technology and advanced
weaponry.

A Pentagon report on North Korea’s military published in
February 2016 states that North Korea continues to advance its nuclear
program.

The North Koreans announced in September 2015 that the
nuclear facilities at Yongbyon including a uranium enrichment plant and a
reactor that were upgraded for the purpose of building nuclear forces,
the report said.

Pacific Command commander Adm. Harry Harris said

The United Nations’ cultural agency UNESCO voted to condemn Israel’s sovereignty in Jerusalem in 22-10 vote on resolution ‘Occupied Palestine’

EDITOR’S NOTE: The word Jerusalem appears 811 times in your King James Bible, and clearly shows the Jewish connection to it. The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization — passed a resolution called “Occupied Palestine”  by a vote of 22-10, with 26 countries abstaining or absent, on Tuesday.

The resolution calls on Israel to rescind any “legislative and administrative measures and actions” it has taken to “alter the character and status” of Jerusalem. It rejects the idea of a “basic law” in Jerusalem, based off of a 1980 Knesset law, which implies that the city is one unified whole and governed solely by Israel.

Submitted by Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar and Sudan, the resolution also sharply criticizes Israel’s construction in eastern Jerusalem’s Old City and “deplores” the Jewish state’s “continuous” closure of the Gaza strip.

The vote was taken on Israel’s Independence Day and follows a highly controversial UNESCO resolution passed last October that ignored Jewish ties to the Western Wall and Temple Mount sites.

The Fig Tree has bloomed, next up on the prophetical calendar of events is ‘that blessed hope’, the Rapture of the Church

“Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.” Zephaniah 3:8 (KJV)

Until the founding of the United Nations in 1945, there had never been a gathering all of the world powers in one place. That this takes place in our day is not only unique in world history, but was also foretold by the prophets of the Old Testament. The Senate approved the UN Charter on July 28, 1945, by a vote of 89 to 2. The United Nations came into existence on October 24, 1945, after 29 nations had ratified the Charter.

A little less than 3 years after the founding on the UN, Israel would be officially regathered on May 14, 1948. Both these events were prophesied in the Bible, and both came to pass within our lifetime. I can already hear the howling from the brethren exclaiming “that’s not true, you’re just making that up!”. But the gospel truth is, the Bible did and does indeed declare these prophecies to be true. Let’s start with the easy one first.

The Fig Tree Has Already Bloomed

Jesus, in Matthew 24, said that the event that would kick-off the end times would be the regathering of Israel in exactly the same spot from which it was dispersed in 70 AD. He also prophesied that the generation that would be alive to see this come to pass would also be the generation that would see – in this order –  the Rapture of the Church, the time of Jacob’s trouble, and the Battle of Armageddon leading to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” Matthew 24:32-34 (KJV)

The Fig Tree has bloomed, next up on the prophetical calendar of events is ‘that blessed hope’, the Rapture of the Church. Without setting any kind of date, springtime of 2018 will be a time of great interest. It will be the 70th anniversary of regathered Israel, and if you know how God likes to do things around the number 70, it could potentially be a time of prophecy being fulfilled.

The End Times gathering of the nations

In 6,000 years of human history, there has never been a time where all the nations of the world have been officially and formally gathered together. Yet the Bible declares in multiple places that in the last days, God will gather them all together. And why would God do this? So He could destroy them because they were against His people the Jews, and against His holy city of Jerusalem, the city of the Great King.

“…for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger:..” Zephaniah 3:8 (KJV)

In an earlier story today where we showed you that UNESCO condemned Israel in a 22-10 vote – a vote that happened today –  proclaiming that the Jews had no right to Jerusalem. And the very act of the passing of their resolution is soaked in the words from the prophets.

The gathered nations of the UN hate Israel and the Jews, exactly as the Bible says they would:

These events we are discussing are events taking place right now at this very moment, prophecy is being referenced and brought to pass everywhere you look. But do the nations, the combined intelligence of the free world, give even the most cursory of consideration to the fact that what they are doing is fulfillment of Bible prophecy? No, they do not, the couldn’t care less. The nations of the world do not consider the God of Abraham, and His words have little or no meaning to them. And they will go on thinking and acting contrary to God, right up until the moment God allows all nations of the world – including the United States – to come against the tiny nation of Israel in the Battle of Armageddon.

“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.” Zechariah 14:2 (KJV)

Did you catch that? ALL nations are gathered together by God, and they ALL decide to follow Antichrist and attack Israel. How could all nations be gathered unless they had already formed an alliance? (insert light bulb moment here). All the nations DID form an alliance – 1945 – and they will continue this alliance right into the Valley of Megiddo. And what will be the outcome of that, you ask?

“Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.” Zechariah 14:3,4 (KJV)

That is the coming day when the United Nations, under the banner of Antichrist, group together to fight against Israel with the prize being Jerusalem. Why all the fuss about Jerusalem? Because that’s the city of the Great and Coming King – King Jesus! The Devil, who wants to be “like the Most High”, wants that city to try and stop Jesus from ruling for a thousand years from Jerusalem.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4 (KJV)

Now you know the future of the United Nations. It’s going to be destroyed because they are against God, against His Christ, against the Jews and against Israel. These events, long ago prophesied in the Bible, are playing out right now, in today’s headlines.
