Explosion in New York: Terrorist sought revenge for Israel’s actions in Gaza

The New York terrorist told investigators that Israeli actions against Palestinians are what motivated him to carry out his “attempted terror attack” in downtown Manhattan, CNN reported. The terror suspect, 27-year-old Akayed Ullah, lives in Brooklyn and works as a taxi driver. Investigators are currently checking if he has ties to any radical Islamic organizations.

A man detonated a homemade pipe bomb today (Monday) that he was wearing inside the New York Port Authority’s underground walkway, slightly injuring three people. According to local authorities, the terror suspect was injured and is currently in police custody. The explosion that occurred at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan is considered by authorities to be an “attempted terror attack” and according to the New York Police Department (NYPD), this is an isolated incident...
