First God had to gather an amount of dust and shaped into a body such as the one He planned for His Son to be incarnated in. His breath of life, breathed into Adam’s nostril made Adam a living soul.
With Eve, God no longer used the crude material, dust, but rather out a living soul.
[Gen 2:18, 21-24] And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him… And the LORD God caused A DEEP SLEEP TO FALL UPON ADAM, and he slept: and HE TOOK ONE OF HIS RIBS, AND CLOSED UP THE FLESH INSTEAD THEREOF; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
From the few verses quoted above, we learn about the application of “anaesthetic” in the very first “major surgery” on the human body.
While Adam was the first of God’s “last” creation, Eve held the pinnacle position as the very last of creation: created from a part of a living soul. Why do I go overboard of placing Eve or the female member of the human race in the pinnacle position?
[Gen 6:1-2] And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
God created them beautiful and tough (from a rib bone); they tempted angels and were tough enough to birth giants!
